"Gypsy's Tramps and Thieves", "Believe", "Strong Enough", "If I Could Turn Back Time" & "Love And Understanding", what a fantastic top 5, can't wait to see who wins, think that "SE" will finish at #5 on here, gotta funny feeling that it will.

Fixed that :D

I'm kind of shocked Dark Lady made it so high. I absolute hate it. Never liked it. I'm clearly in a very small minority though!

Expect Strong Enough next, followed by Gypsies. I actually find Turn Back Time to be overplayed and overrated, so would really like I Found Someone to be top 2.

Dark Lady shouldn't be that high  surely, justice for Jessie James please.

5 | 8.86 | Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves / I Found Someone

Another tie, the last one too. Incase anyone is wondering, GT&T got more 11's so technically could be #4.

I Found Someone was the first proper RockCher single and marked the big comeback for her after taking time off to become a major movie star. Originally by Laura Branigan, this

has a very 80's intro and is totally awesome. Top 5 in the UK and top 10 in the US, it was a pretty massive hit and is probably one of her best known hits.

Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves is the oldest song in this top 10, released way back in 1971. Another top 5 in the UK, hitting #4 and it went to #1 in America. Really iconic song I think

we'll all agree. It was, at that point, her best selling single.

good rundown. Cher number one's in my personal charts over the years (including Sonny & Cher's):

I Got You Babe

All I Ever Need Is You

Dark Lady

Just Like Jessie James

One By One

Believe

I Walk Alone

Ones that shoulda:

Baby Don't Go

Little Man

Gypsies Tramps & Thieves

03 | 9.46 | Strong Enough

Breaking into the top 3 is the second single from mega smash but overrated album Believe. Less successful than what came before, but IMO a better song.

I've been losing sleep and you've been going cheap is an iconic line. Another UK top 5 (#5) but only got to #57 in the US. A great track that starts off slow but then it kicks in.

As a child of the 90's I fondly remember this being on the radio and the young gay in me loved it. Cher played a computer virus in the video, epic.

SO unless you're a dumbass, it's clear which two songs are battling out for #1. Believe vs. If I Could Turn Back Time.

Save Up All Your Tears deserved a higher place but considering how minor a hit it was, it done well to make the top 10 here.

I missed it due to the tie, :smoke: technically it was Gypsies cause it got more 11's. I realise this is all wrong but its how i do it.

"I Found Someone" another fantastic Cher song, just brilliant and plus Laura Branigan's original version is great too and place them both on about the same level. "Gypsy's Tramps And Thieves" is amazing also.

Also OMG at "Strong Enough" making the top 3, a great result but probably wouldn't place it that high on my personal Cher top 10, around #9 or #10 on mine.

So it's "Believe" vs "If I Could Turn Back Time", either way it's gonna be a fab winner.

 it's totally not wrong Regina that was me being slow

02 | 9.6 | If I Could Turn Back Time

01 | 9.8 | Believe

A predictable and slightly disappointing winner IMO.

If I Could Turn Back Time was from the Heart Of Stone album and slayed the charts. #6 in the UK and #3 in the US. Easily one of her best known songs and one of the

defining songs of the 80's lets be honest. Such a brilliant song that hooks you from start to finish. The video is something of a legend too, everyone remembers that outfit.

Believe was the start of a revolution, auto-tone and dance Cher were born from it. Released in 1998, it became a mega monster hit, #1 in the UK and US, it's easily her biggest hit

ever and best known song. I am not so fond of it, it's suffered from overhype and overplay. Seems I am alone in that since everyone here gave it a 9,10, or 11.

'Believe' certainly deserves 9's or above, it's not something I'd sit and listen to though, overplayed for me also.
Amazing averages for those 2 songs, well deserved if the winner was either one, thanks for hosting this.
