Joking aside, Lifehouse are MOR male rock which was never going to appeal to BJSC in a big way. However, this was just 13pts from qualifying and only 8 points from 21st place, so I would view that as a triumph in one way even if this couldn’t be Avalonia’s 2nd entry to make the final.

July 6, 201510 yr Author Q: Cor Lupus // New Politics - West End Kids Cody Slayberry has tried a different sound again; this one kinda sounds like a Taahino entry. Cor Lupus have qualified with pure pop and generic (for want of a better, non shady word) dance, but also now with this slightly more alternative sound. Will this give Cody a 2nd consectutive top 20 and show that varying your sound can be a good thing? Eithe way Cody you can put your mind at ease for now about flopping :kink: Q: Greenfroze // Robert DeLong - Don’t Wait Up Recylcing from Trifoski (BJSC 52’s Global Concepts), Freeze gets a third consective qualifier! When I first heard this I thought it was a tough one to predict, but it’s definitely a grower and could be a dark horse to do well in the final despite not picking up much hype thus far from thread to thread.

I thought this sounded like a qualifer and it was a grower for me so it’s a bit of a shame. Everything was so close, but I thought this would at least scrape through.
