Omg Biology is 10 years old :o Still my favourite GA song by far and one of the best songs of all time, just perfect pop and Nadine slays on the vocals

Also, when they had those music player toys at McDonalds featuring the song. *.*

Biology was on those music players :o I wish I'd got that one :( I have one of them somewhere with the I Like To Move It Song!

They also did a 'Call The Shots' one, which I used to have! Where they are now though is anyone's guess

Edit: Just clicked on the picture Jade posted and saw the 'Call The Shots' player :')

I can't believe it's 10 actual years since 'Biology', I remember following the release of that single so closely (as with the whole era... well, every Girls Aloud release since 'Jump').

To think, in timeline terms by the time we reach the end of the Chemistry era we'll be celebrating Buzzjack's 10th anniversary. :o

CRAZY STUPID LOVE PREMIERED

5 years :'( I was sooo excited for her solo career. A great album came out of it, it's such a pity she didn't do well commercially. :(

CSL still a bit of a bop ;o

I maintain that Cinderella's Eyes is the best solo GA album by far, still sounds great now, should've performed so much better in the chart than it did :(

BEAT OF MY DRUM. SO GOOD.

It was seriously, so ahead of its time. If it were released today it would SMASH with the right exposure. Still a constant in my playlists.

Couldn't agree more.

I think the most unfortunate consequence of the lack of commercial success is that we seem to miss her best years as a performing artist. It was obvious since PSTR how talented she was, but she really came into her own around Tangled Up, only one album later the band practically stopped - before she even turned 24. Since then, there was one solo album, a brief comeback with GA for a few songs and a tour, and who knows when we'll hear her sing again.

I wish she had at least toured the album. It obviously would have been on a much smaller scale than what she was used to with Girls Aloud, but maybe doing festivals and small gigs would have given more exposure than the branding route (ie naming her fans before she had any for her own work) they went for.

'Love Machine' was released 12 years ago on this date!

Also, 'Something Kinda Ooooh' received its radio premiere on 12th September 2006. I can't believe it's now 10 years old! One of my favourite songs ever!

Wooow at both of those! :o I remember Love Machine's release so clearly, I bought CD1 in Tesco (! oh the days of Tesco stocking CD singles) and CD2 in Woolworths I believe! Amazing times.

I don't really remember much about Something Kinda Ooooh's release other than being obsessed with the song of course, I loved all the quirky lyrics in it for sure.
