James has been tweeting about the singles from the second album, so I'm assuming we're going to be hearing about the first one soon enough! :cheer:

Just learnt our next set of singles as a full band 🌚🌚

Going to be interesting having both The Vamps and 5SOS releasing around the same time this year! :kink: Nonetheless, cannot WAIT for this.

I thought we'd have heard about a new single by now actually! With the album out in November and assuming they do at least 2 singles before the album (I'd be shocked if they only did one), we should be hearing the first single pretty soon.
Excited for this! Best non-1D boyband (and with Zayn gone there's room for the numero uno spot)
I have a feeling The Vamps will do better than 5SOS will with a second album. When I was at the last Olly Murs tour recently a video of 5SOS came on in the interval and there wasn't much cheering from the female teen contigent - save for the one who got his man bits out on Snapchat (I wanna say Ashton?) - but the second the 'Somebody to You' video came on quite a lot of the arena were singing along. Hell I don't care much for them but even I have to admit that song was a good single of theirs, very summery sort of pop (I've still not forgiven them for murdering Simon & Garfunkel though, mind).

Calum, not Ashton :heehee: (although I'd rather it was the latter )

I can see them both doing very well actually, both their albums ended up doing similarly and singles success for both was quite consistent too (although 5SOS are let down by Good Girls, not sure what happened there!). I can see both having successful second albums, at least singles-wise, but neither of their second albums will outsell their debuts.

I think what The Vamps should be careful of doing though is avoiding doing anything dark and edgy just yet, the same sort of thing McFly did on their 'Wonderland' album - whilst that was a good album, I can rarely listen to it as much as 'Room on the 3rd Floor' because it's a very depressing album.

Obviously make it maybe a bit harder sounding to show some progression but they're a young band and they should embrace that. Mature in sound and style as and when the time is right.

We need more songs like 'Another World' and 'Risk It All' on this album. Obviously their singles output is amazing, but when they strip it all back and do ballads, they do it good and proper.

Did they all dye their hair brown?

The track will impact US radios on October 6 according to Republic Playbook.

That said, the audio has been uploaded on AllAccess since early this week, so I'm surprised it didn't leak. Anyway, its length is 3:12min. and they will be on Nick Grimshaw's BBC Radio 1 breakfast show tomorrow to premiere the track.

YOU ONLY THOUGHT TO TELL US TODAY?

Anyway :P Had a couple of listens and it's not coming close to their first four singles for me. It's definitely a different direction and not as instantly catchy, need to hear the extended version too as it does end too soon.

It's goooooooooooooood and I could easily see it being my favourite by them so far. I wasn't too enamoured with them in the first era bar 'Somebody To You' anyway.

Video is out on Monday and apparently Brooklyn Beckham appears in it!!

One very positive thing that I'm taking from this is Connor getting some lead vocals.

Hmmm. I like the MGMT sounding synth bits, but the chorus sounds a little weak
I've given it a few listens now, it's pretty great and I think it'll continue to grow on further listens too. I would rank it last among their singles but that's not a bad thing as such right now because I loved all the others :heehee:
