Some very nice indie pop, I was listening to this track back in late 2013/early 2014 but it looks like Radio 1 are properly getting behind them now

Today's playlist will most likely be the last one before Christmas. Can't really see too much for them to add but here are some possibilities:

Ellie Goulding - Army (unless this is now being pushed in the new year)

Carly Rae Jepsen - Your Type (still hoping for this)

They'll usually change the playlist again on Boxing Day.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if Little Mix's Secret Love Song was added on today's playlist. Fingers crossed anyway.

Why? 'Run Away With Me' was A-listed despite flopping so I wouldn't be *that* surprised at 'Your Type' being playlisted (although I think it's 50/50 whether they will)

Yeah that might be a good call actually, it just depends when its official impact date is.

Probably because both that flopped and the album bombed tremendously means they'd usually avoid a follow-up from that like the plague, especially with an artist like her.

 

I'm hanging on to the fact that they played it once recently and spoke highly of it.

^ You could be right, but I still think there's a chance they could playlist it.

This was released a couple of years ago so it seems this is a new version, but even that was released 4 months ago, so I'm not entirely sure what's going on :lol:

Ooh! Great to see 'Bloodsport' being used as TOTD. If that could actually become a hit, I'd be so happy. Still his best song and he's SOOOOO good live! Always weird seeing him as Greyworm though :lol:

They've posted an article on their Facebook page about Petite Meller, so I wonder if they're about to finally playlist 'Barbaric'? Probably just wishful thinking though :unsure:

Couldn't agree more with that, 'Never Enough' is easily the best thing on the album :D
