I think "History" is their best song on the album, and the perfect way to go out with a bang!!

I think they could've done it instead of the pointless Big Weekend & Teen Award rewinds.

That's really disappointing that we're not getting an EOY this year. What else do they have planned for NYE anyway before 7pm??? Just normal shows really???

 

I wonder if we could get vidcapper or someone to estimate the EOY top 100 and someone can host it as a countdown on dubtrack.fm if it's really not happening on R1?

10 hour takeover means the listeners choose the songs played on the show. like the 10 minute takeover Greg JMes has on his show every weekday except Friday

I would think this is down to Nick Grimshaw. If he wasn't one of the XF judges, I doubt they would have bothered with it!

Do R1 really feel the need to promote this further, even giving it TOTD status?

 

I still find it funny that The Voice winners never get a look in despite being a BBC show yet they pounce on the XF Winner before it's even announced (imagine if they'd had to play the cod-reggae Reggie N Bollie version *.*)

I think that version would actually have been more up R1's street than Louisa's version
