The notion that we eon't be able to use our British driving licences in the EU is ridiculous - we would simply retaliate by not recognising EU ones here, a clearly untenable situation.

WHY CAN'T YOU SEE THAT?!

For the first time in nearly 30 years, the sitting PM has refused to so an interview with Channel 4 News to coincide with their party conference. She has followed the example of Boris Johnson who has consistently refused to be interviewed on Channel 4 News, meaning they were missing from his itinerary on his most recent promotional tour. Could it possibly be that they know they might actually be put under pressure to answer the questions? Perhaps they are worried that the interviewer might ask them to justify some of their most outrageous comments.

Or, indeed, the Tory candidate for the next London Mayoral election who wrote that accommodating Hindu and Muslim immigrants "robs Britain of its community" and risks turning the country into "a crime-ridden cesspool". Looks like he plans to make Zac Goldsmith's campaign seem positively liberal.

1. Legalising pot would talk the money out of drug barons hands and put it in the gov'ts

 

2. Why don't the unions srop funding Labour then - for the exact same reason, political influence.
