The song that did just scrape through, Delilah's Go unfortunately doesn't get anywhere at all and is last just 3 points behind an out-of-place Pitbull hit. Lots of other playoff qualifiers fall by the wayside as ever, the most notable being Promises which got the playoff silver. What The Hell was actually winning this thing after the first 7 or so votes, in contrast to Someone Like You, which was yet to come off 0. If only it had stayed that way, as Someone Like You's far superior female piano ballad counterpart, Christina Perri's Jar Of Hearts is the most high-profile AQ to lose its status. Neither of these are victories for my music taste obviously. We also lose 2011's 'random indie AQ' as Young Blood falls out, hopefully to return soon.

 

Most of the AQs we've lost are the lower ones so I guess that's pretty normal, I'm just a little stoked to see Jealousy and Hold It Against Me out though, we can keep those out in the future :D

In a pretty lucky set of events, three new AQs are the ones that were most in danger throughout, but none of Wynter, Selena or Nicola look TOO disingenuous in a Buzzjack list. Happily, Broken Record is the highest of the new lot, although it's quite a way off making it a round further.

We may have lost two of the new Lady Gaga qualifiers challenging but the winner of the playoff Judas was not to be stopped. Gaga will have 2 automatically in 2011 for next time.

Only one song falling out of last year's top 15, Shake It Out was still quite some way off the top 15. So not much of a shakeup.

Believe it or not, this was actually quite a close contest for the top before We Found Love started to take no prisoners in the second half of the voting. The two better Adele songs are sneaking through to the final along with Nicki and Katy. Eh, we've had better. I rarely agree hugely for the 2011 rank anyway.

This is the most deserving winner! E.T could be a great winner but without the vocals of Kanye West.

Only just seen this - 'Set Fire To The Rain' entering the top 5 is about the only good result here (that's any different to last year anyway). What the actual fuck at Delilah finishing LAST?! :angry:
