Ooh Stargate and Benny Blanco. I hope this is an uptempo, or at least has a bit more to it than Good For You! As much as I loved that, I don't want too much of that sound from her tbh.

Ooh this is looking like a uptempo pop song! I love 'Good For You', but I'm glad that it doesn't look like she's completely abandoned her previous sound.

Maybe it'll be this era's equivalent of 'Slow Down' to the midtempo 'Come And Get It'/'Good For You'? (Hopefully a bit more successful though)

During a past iHeartMedia Summit and as All Access, Interscope Records announced that Selena’s next official single is called ‘Same Old Love‘. It’s a song that was penned by a comulgation of songwriters namely Benjamin Levin, Charlotte Aitchison, Ross Golan, Mikkel Storleer Eriksen and Tor Erik Hermansen. Selena Gomez plans to send the ‘Good for You‘ follow-up to radio for adds in late August so keep your ears open.

i am shocked, what an utterly appalling piece of music. is that charli xcx on backing vox in the stagnant tuneless chorus?

 

what are her label thinking? and just before the album is out. what can her label be thinking? it's legitimately one of the worst things that i've heard all year!

It sounds like one of the worst songs you'd find on Charli's Sucker album.

 

Edit: So Charli is actually featured on the chorus and wrote the song, too.

I like it, but it has NOTHING on Good For You. I'm a bit disappointed really, I know this is only first listen but it's probably the weakest single she's released for me.... I guess it could grow.

It's such a non event.

 

I have no idea what Selena is playing at. It's such a terrible move when it's the lead single for the album.
