Posted August 5, 20159 yr What is everyone's favourite movie scenes of all times, ones that have made you laugh, one that have made you cry, ones that have made you smile? Mine is probably the end of Titanic, so beautiful but so upsetting
August 5, 20159 yr The ending to Black Swan for me <3 V~tragic and emotional end to a very twisted and psychologically moving film. Oh and also Toy Story 3 - after what seemed a harrowing climax (I really didn't expect them to see Andy again), it ended well for all the toys.
August 6, 20159 yr This tbh H2FOaNL_CNE For SO many reasons; Courteney Cox, the whacking the killer with the telephone, the music, the chase, the cat and mouse thing in the room, Gale seeing Dewey getting stabbed (really sad) and the fact that this was the first time Gale was properly pursued by Ghostface, before she just butted her way in and got caught in the crossfire. Also, she comes off as a cold bitch till this point, so seeing her so scared and emotional was nice in a way. The ending is particulary chilling, she just looks like she's given up and is ready for him to kill her. I kinda love this scene.
August 6, 20159 yr Regina, even though I find Scream better as overall film because of its writing, originality and wit - I've always thought Scream 2 was more scary, and this scene is one of the most terrifyingly tense moments, along with the climbing out of the car, and Cici's death. August 6, 20159 yr Scream 2 is one of my favourite movies but I think the first one is a tad scarier, I still get chills from that opening sequence.
August 6, 20159 yr So many to choose from, but that sequence from Scream 2 is superb. Scream's opening is obviously iconic as well, and for good reason. The Sixth Sense - there's a scene towards the end of the movie where Toni and Haley are sitting in their car, stuck in traffic, where he reveals his secret to her and the slow realisation that he's telling the truth sets in. Toni plays that scene so beautifully, it still gives me goosebumps. I can't take my eyes off of her. She's incredible. Toy Story 3 - the entire sequence from the incinirator to the end of the movie is perfection. The Matrix - Morpheus' rescue, culminating in the helicopter scene and Tank staring in disbelief, saying "I knew it. He's the one." Amazing. I'll think of more later.
August 6, 20159 yr Some people for a strange suppose may find the Sharon Stone interrogation scene to be their favourite which isn't mine by the way.
August 6, 20159 yr Definitely the ending of Toy Story 3- when Andy says goodbye to Woody and Buzz. And this: WDpipB4yehk
August 6, 20159 yr There are literally hundreds I could list but these are all special to me for various reasons 'Dances with Wolves! I am Wind In His Hair. Do you see that I am your friend? Can you see that you will always be my friend?' Al Pacino and the gun in the toilet in The Godfather Bob Hoskins in the back of the car in Long Good Friday. He doesn't say a word but you feel every emotion. The Joker's pencil trick - The Dark Knight The final 10 minutes of The Last Of The Mohicans The stand off in The Good, The Bad & The Ugly The realistion of who Keyser Soze is. Roy Batty's final speech in Bladerunner Janet Leigh takes a shower - Psycho Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken in True Romance 'What do ya mean funny?' - Joe Pesci in Goodfellas 'What's in the box, John? - Se7en 'Do you feel lucky? Well do you? Punk?' - Dirty Harry 'I Am Your Father' (The power of which has been lost due to those darn prequels) 'I'm Spartacus' 'Open the pod bay doors, HAL, - 2001 Private Pyle finally snaps - Full Metal Jacket Russian roulette - The Deer Hunter The first 20 minutes of Saving Private Ryan The church scene in Come And See The shower scene in Schindler's List Hitler snaps at his 'underperforming' generals - Der Untergang Sadako crawls out of the TV - Ringu The Mothership appears - Close Encounters Of The Third Kind Edited August 6, 20159 yr by Severin
August 12, 20159 yr There are literally hundreds I could list but these are all special to me for various reasons The Joker's pencil trick - The Dark Knight Janet Leigh takes a shower - Psycho 'What's in the box, John? - Se7enAmazing choices. I was thinking about the scene where The Joker blows up the hospital in 'The Dark Knight', but I think the disappearing pencil trick trumps it! We have the entire last 15 minutes or so of 'Saw' to include here too. Just ridiculously tense and (on first viewing) a major "WTF?!?!?" moment. Another one of my favourite scenes is the moment Iron Man walks away as the camp behind him blows up in the first film. I'd also like to add the very last shot of 'The Boy In Striped Pyjamas' to this. So harrowing and just such an emotional ending, to an emotional film. It really hits you hard!

It's the whole scene really but the pencil trick is brilliant. I also love it when the guy ask if he thinks he can just walk in here and rob them all and without hesitating and completely deapan Joker just goes 'yeah'. I agree with Saw. Didn't see that coming but it's all there. I still haven't seen 'Striped Pyjamas' but it's on my list on Netflix
August 12, 20159 yr Scream's opening sequence is my favourite ever I think. So creepy and so well done. The airplane scene on Bridesmaids is up there as well I think.
August 12, 20159 yr The airplane scene on Bridesmaids is up there as well I think. Was coming here to say this and the dress shop scene.
August 18, 20159 yr Scream's opening sequence is my favourite ever I think. So creepy and so well done. The airplane scene on Bridesmaids is up there as well I think. YES also the last scenes of every lars von trier film. And he beginning of melancholia. Just stunning and packed with references.
August 18, 20159 yr I was having a discussion about this with my sister the other day, there are so many little tiny scenes and stuff across loads of movies that I ADORE for a myriad of reasons. One of my all time favourites though is the bit in Death Becomes Her where Helen gets shot in the stomach (and has a massive hole there) and gets out of the pool and is ''Look at me Ernest, I'm SOAKING WET'' and Madeleine says ''I can see right THROUGH YOU''. Yes, they key linking feature to most of mine is quotability/comedy/camp value.
