Retro faves~ 2014 1- AM I WRONG- Nico & Vinz (62,750) 2- RUDE- MAGIC!- (58,697) 3- LOVE RUNS OUT- OneRepublic (34,019) 4- GIANT IN MY HEART- Kiesza (33,414) 7- FADED- ZHU (25,625) 8- PROBLEM- Ariana Grande Ft Iggy Azalea (24,998) 10- BOOM CLAP- Charli XCX (22,486) Quite a decent top 10 there! I have now actually come to prefer 'Giant In My Heart' to 'Hideaway'. 2010 1- CLUB CAN’T HANDLE ME- Flo Rida Ft David Guetta (61,027) 2- LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE- Eminem Ft Rihanna (58,126) 7- AIRPLANES- B.o.B Ft Hayley Williams (39,700)* 8- ALL TIME LOW- The Wanted (39,400)* 10- IN MY SYSTEM- Tinchy Stryder (30,857) I very much remember being on holiday at this time and being surprised that the Sats were number three after being at the top of the midweeks (before BuzzJack times giving me sales info :P). 2005 2- BAD DAY- Daniel Powter (24,874) 4- OOH LA LA- Goldfrapp (14,745) 7- SINCE U BEEN GONE- Kelly Clarkson (9,600)* 8- GHETTO GOSPEL- 2Pac Ft Elton John (9,400)* 9- WE BELONG TOGETHER- Mariah Carey (8,900)* 10- ASS LIKE THAT- Eminem (8,800)* I have absolutely no recollection of that Craig David song despite being top 3 in a time when I had been following chart music for at least a year, hmm. A few great ones here otherwise~ 2000 1- I TURN TO YOU- Mel C (121,000) 2- ROCK DJ- Robbie Williams (102,000) 3- 7 DAYS- Craig David (62,000)* 4- FREESTYLER- Bomfunk Mc’s (41,000)* 7- LIFE IS A ROLLERCOASTER- Ronan Keating (27,000)* 8- THE REAL SLIM SHADY- Eminem (25,000)* Melanie C's number ones were both fantastic, this one a little less so than 'Never Be the Same Again' but still solid. 1995 1- NEVER FORGET- Take That (54,000) 2- I LUV U BABY- Original (53,000) 4- WATERFALLS- TLC (37,000) 5- KISS FROM A ROSE/ I’M ALIVE- Seal (33,000) 9- I’M ONLY SLEEPING/ OFF ON HOLIDAY- Suggs (23,000) 10- BOOM BOOM BOOM- Outhere Brothers (23,000) Ooh 'I Luv U Baby' (as well as 'U Sure Do') is one of my parents' 'songs' haha so have been acquainted with that one for years. Elsewhere, I complete forgot about this version of 'I'm Only Sleeping'. The Beatles original is one of my favourites by them, this cover was decent I guess. Edited August 14, 201511 yr by Jade

The group were created and are currently managed by Jo Perry. Only The Young previously featured Union J's George Shelley, who was later replaced by Bromley. While on the series, Only The Young released their version of Bobby "Boris" Pickett's "Monster Mash" in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. Before the show, they auditioned for Capital's Summertime Ball on 21 June, and were chosen to perform at Wembley Stadium alongside Pharrell Williams, Miley Cyrus, David Guetta, Enrique Iglesias, Little Mix and many other artists. Their dream duet would be McFly, Michael Bublé, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars or Katy Perry. The group landed in the bottom 2 with Jake Quickenden in week three, but they were saved after receiving only Mel B's vote to go home. This meant that, within three weeks of live shows, all four groups had already found themselves at risk of elimination. They were automatically eliminated in week seven as the act with the fewest public votes on Saturday, coming in 7th place. Two weeks after being voted off the show, the group announced their first headlining show which would be held in London's Under the Bridge on 28 December 2014, thus becoming the first act of the series to be successful after leaving the show. However, the group have since had to pull out of the event following the death of Tarjomani's mother on 21 December. On 19 May 2015, they announced that they have a deal with Warner Music: their debut single is due to be released during summer 2015. The music video of their debut single "I Do" was released on 8 June 2015, but their YouTube account was hacked four days later, which led to its deletion. It was re-uploaded the next day (13 June), losing all its previous views. "I Do" was originally to be released on 31 July, but to the migrant crisis in Calais preventing a lorry containing copies of their single coming into the UK, it had to be delayed by a week, instead being released on 7 August. - Wikipedia Chart history - Top 100 (Year peak title): 2015 xx I Do -1- Discussion Thread Here
