The record includes two tracks co-written with hitmaker Jess Glynne, production from Ed Drewett and longtime collaborators Maegan Cottone and Camille Purcell as well as a duet with Jessie J.

 

Although it doesn't say which are the Jess/Jessie tracks...

Oh wow, that sounds great! I was thinking to begin with "oh, this is very Salute" but then it progressed into something where you realise they've continued to grow (no pun intended) with their music; retaining their popular sound but mixing things up to stop things getting too samey. Credit to them, it's great to see how they push their sound and are continuing to experiment.

I am looking forward to the Jessie J collab as I do like both acts :)

Wow love the sound of Weird People!

So they have announced a 'Love Me Like You: The Collection' to be released on Friday, which includes the album track 'Lightning', to which they've also stated that there will be another "surprise" on Friday!

I was very much loving it until the beat drop. I hope that part grows on me but it seems completely misplaced for me :(

 

Little Mix - Weird People

 

This is good fun but it isn't really doing much for me either, apart from being a bit of sing along fun for the kiddy bops. I think I would have loved this if I didn't know what they were capable with, with the material last era. No denying how catchy it is though so I suppose it does what they want it to.

I love both of them tbh, everything from this album is so strong.

Is 'Lightning' the 'DNA' sequel they were talking about? *.* Love it. Even the breakdown, which admittedly caught me off guard to start with, but I really like it. 'Weird People' is infectiously good. It's really, really catchy! Not single material, although if it was released I can actually see it being a pretty big hit for them.

On the first listen, I was a bit disappointed by Weird People but I really can't get enough of it now, so infectious. I'm on the fence about whether it'd make a great single but it's kind of hard to resist as a bit of throwaway fun.

Not too sure on lightning so far, doesn't sound great on my first couple of listens :(

 

On the other hand Weird People is pure pop at it's best :heart: Listened to it so much today and it is such a fun song :wub: :wub:
