Drag Me Down has grown on me lots, to the point it could be their best lead single now although I'm sure in five years time it'll probably have reverted back to WMYB, I really like the video too despite not a lot happening in it. Quite sad about the hiatus/split :(

Biography

Little Mix (formerly known as Rhythmix) is an English girl group formed in 2011, consisting of members Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson. They were formed exclusively for the eighth series of The X Factor in 2011 and became the first group to win the competition. Following their victory, they signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music and released a cover of Damien Rice's "Cannonball" as their winner's single.

Little Mix released their debut album DNA on 19 November 2012. It charted in the top 5 in eight countries, including number two in the UK and number four on the US Billboard 200. This made Little Mix the first girl group since The Pussycat Dolls to reach the U.S. top 5 with their debut album, as well as earning the highest debut U.S. chart position by a British girl group, breaking the record previously held by the Spice Girls, whose 1996 debut Spice charted at number five. As of December 2014, Little Mix have sold over 7.5 million records worldwide. - Wikipedia

I was hoping Black Magic would overtake Shut Up + Dance, not be overtaken by Are You With Me?. Oh well, Hair will probably keep it up a bit.
Another pretty decent track from 1D :D could have decent longevity from here which I wouldn't mind

Yay at Jess grabbing album #1!!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Black Magic is still good!!!!

Any special reason why Take Me To Church is back on the top 40?
it says a lot that I'd rather have Drag Me Down back in the top 10 than Black Magic there. :puke: it's very quickly become unlistenable

I never really liked Black Magic tbh :(

Black Magic chart run is amazing. I wish they were also successful at least with this single internationally and could get any #1 abroad.

Are You With Me is quite good, much better than Prayer In C. Now that was horrible.
Any special reason why Take Me To Church is back on the top 40?

I think it was used somewhere.

I'm quite surprised Shut Up and Dance managed to chart higher than Lost Frequencies now.

Biography

Walk the Moon (often stylized as WALK THE MOON) is an American Indie rock band based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Lead singer Nicholas Petricca started the band in 2008 and went through several member changes before finally coming together with current members Kevin Ray, Sean Waugaman, and Eli Maiman in 2010. The band derives their name from the song "Walking on the Moon" by The Police. The group independently released their debut album, I Want! I Want!, in November 2010, receiving airplay for the track "Anna Sun" on multiple Alternative radio stations. In February 2011, Walk the Moon signed with Mick Management. They signed to RCA Records and released their first major label album, their second overall, the self-titled Walk the Moon, in June 2012. It is composed of many of their original tracks from I Want! I Want! as well as new tracks that were written specifically for the album and were meant to reflect the kind of energy the band produced in their live shows. In December 2014, the band released their second major-label studio album, Talking Is Hard. This album included their biggest hit to date, "Shut Up and Dance," which has so far charted at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number 1 on Billboard's Rock Songs chart and Billboard's Alternative Songs chart.

SPIN Magazine has described them as a "poppy, art-rock quartet". They were also deemed a Nylon Magazine Band Crush for their "swirly pop beats, infectious guitar riffs, and loud, sing-a-long choruses." - Wikipedia

Discussion Thread Here

Shut Up + Dance is starting to get boring. I'm hoping it drops out of the top 10 next week.
There is absolutely no track this year that makes me more angry than Shut Up & Dance when it comes on, such an annoying song. Even worse when coupled with one of the worst music videos I've ever seen.
