This whole album keeps on growing me but I ADORE "First Time High"! The strings on it are gorgeous and have made me super excited to hear her Clean Bandit collaboration next week 😍

Does anyone know what the Target bonus tracks are? The Japanese ones were just remixes that we'd already heard of "Anywhere" and "Let You Love Me" unfortunately.

Yeah 'First Time High' is the one that's really standing out for me atm.

So beautiful.

I actually expected better than this album debuting at around #5, I honestly thought she had a strong chance of debuting with around 50,000 just due to the amount of promotion and success every single bar 'Girls' has had this era and even to an extent 'Girls' got a lot of exposure and sold decently.

Going to listen to the album tonight but have high hopes it will be the pop album of the year as every single has been a 7/10+ so far (blame Your Song)

We don't have an idea of sales yet but remember we're in the thick of Q4. Little Mix sold over 50k at #3 last week, so there's every chance her sales will be strong regardless. #1 was always out of reach against Take That and I think most of us expected a position at the low end of the top 5, maybe even a bit lower due to the busy release schedule!

I was fully expecting a low Top 10 debut due to how competitive the market is now, but I imagine it stands a chance at climbing to a better peak in the New Year, especially if that's when they start pushing the next single.

Yeah. Once I found out Alfie Boe, Roy Orbison and Cliff Rihard were releasing same day, I knew she'd struggle for top 5.

Sales will be strong though regardless of where it'll be, I think.

Think the record company were quite brave to release this close to Christmas. They must have been confident that Let Me Love You would be a hit otherwise I could have seen this album get pretty lost.
Yeah I think a top 3 debut would've been pretty huge for her given a late Q4 release! A top 5 position with strong opening sales would be a good result for her!
Apparently, this was #3 in the mids with 9k sold yesterday.

Down to 6 now :( Behind Take That, Cliff Richard, Buble, Greatest Showman and Alfie Boe

Projected to finish at #10 - a disappointing position but it's selling consistently so far, so I'm hoping it can impress with its longevity and repeak after Christmas!
I'm guessing that she's a prime example of an artist whose album sales will suffer due to her audience being mainly restricted to streaming her singles rather than sitting down and listening to a full album.

Having so many singles released prior to the album makes it harder to keep the album going long term.

I’m somewhat surprised the album isn’t T5 at least. It features 4 hit singles but maybe that’s the problem when the singles have been staggered over a lengthy period before the album comes out !

I don't understand how this is doing so poorly - Jess Glynne also released multiple singles before her album was out and they all reached the top 10 as well, and she's arguably had less promotion than Rita, yet she still went straight to #1. I've only listened to that once and it's so inferior, I'm really sad that Rita can't even manage the same level of success as her :(

As has been said though, I'm hopeful that she can re-peak after Christmas or in the New Year but for this to be nowhere near top five officially is #sad

I’d say Jess caters a lot more to beige ‘real music’ fans, which is why she manages to sell albums so much better.
