He did! :D He apparently hadn't been that brilliant prior to the Six Chair Challenge but he came into his own with that song choice. One of my favourite auditions of the night easily.

I wouldn't see why competing in another countries talent contests should exclude you. Considering Carolynne Pool who was in the ninth series of X Factor had previously competed and come third in the second series of Fame Academy.

This always happens on BGT too, for example Paddy & Nico, Paddy had won a Spanish talent show and also got far in the Argentina version of Dancing With The Stars. Then we had Luminites from BGT, and Steph Nala was on The X Factor itself last year. I don't see the problem, especially if it was in a different country! It's not like everyone who voted for them on whichever Fillipino talent show they won is going to move to the UK and vote for them en masse so nobody else has a chance :lol:

Nah, I was just annoyed at the whole situation, not you in any way. :D

Got back from yesterday's evening session earlier this morning, and it's one of the most exciting and unique things I've ever been to see. It all felt very dramatic and seeing it live and unedited made it seem very non-manufactured. I was expecting the judges to be consistently in talks with the producers, but only on one occasion in the 2 categories I saw last night did a judge (Nick) talk with the producers and that was justified considering the crowd were desperate for Tom to be given back his seat - which he was.

 

Joseph and Ultraviolence have probably already given enough details but my highlight act of the night was actually a guy called Simon who I think was from the Isle of Man and sang an incredible version of 'Hold My Hand'. He did have an advantage of being the first very good act of the session, but the crowd loved it. Girlband Alien were also one of my favourites, and I think they will become more of a Buzzjack favourite than 4th Power (or "The Girls" as Simon is temporarily calling them due to the name change). 4th Power were definitely the most polished act of the night, fantastic choreography and stronger vocals than in their audition - although I wasn't totally on board with the song choice.

 

High drama with Mason Noise when he launched an attack on the editing of his audition and demanding the crowd to film his "speech" with their phones which resulted in the crowd booing heavily and his microphone being thrown on the floor!

 

An incredible experience, and I hope I can get the opportunity to go again next year! I was lucky to be in the final session considering we saw the best part of two categories. I feel like Cheryl needs some praise as she was the first judge out on stage to greet the crowd and had a nice dance and sing with Olly on stage while they were waiting for the others, and she was probably the judge who most interacted with the crowd. Plus, she only took a couple of hours to get through her entire category, no messing about at all. There was an air of confidence from Cheryl that was a joy to watch!

I forgot Cheryl arrived so early before the other judges! She was my favourite judge last night and I also thought she definitely interacted with the crowd the most :heart:

Cheryl's back on form this year I think after a bit of an iffy year last year, was great to see her mostly upbeat and having fun!

Did you remember if he were the one who got 1st seat or swap into 1st seat ? cuz there is picture of top 6, I can recognize other 5 but not the first seat guy.

Swapped into 1st seat iirc :) (And the person removed from 1st seat ended up being brought back!)

Because they've won other shows and i'm sure in the past they've removed contestants for similar circumstances?

 

Nope never happened on a UK show I believe.

 

The only time a contestant has been kicked off was under the OLD rules that stated that they couldn't be signed/have management etc but now that is all changed.
