September 6, 201510 yr I think that's mainly due to its substantial pre-orders (I'm pretty sure they were at least 5k+). It'll likely drop off over the week. I wonder if Jess Glynne could challenge for the #1 spot in the album chart given her performance on Strictly seems to have given her quite the boost on iTunes? She should remain pretty stable sales-wise at least. Very little chance of that. Iron Maiden has been the No. 1 best seller on Amazon for a couple of weeks based on pre-orders alone - and that's just the deluxe edition, not even counting the basic edition, special edition vinyl or downloads. They have this one in the bag, and rightfully so.
September 6, 201510 yr Iron Maiden's previous album opened with 44k and they have not lost their popularity at all. Wouldn't be surprised if they reached 50k. Edited September 6, 201510 yr by SKOB
September 7, 201510 yr Will Lana outsell David after two weeks? what do you think? Who do you mean? David Gilmour? I didn't realise they were a contender until now. They aren't out for a couple of weeks yet, though. Edited September 7, 201510 yr by Joe.
September 7, 201510 yr  Gilmour Why do you say 'after two weeks' aren't they released the same week? I'd assume Lana would sell more in the first week and is a probable number 1. Edited September 7, 201510 yr by Joe.

September 7, 201510 yr Both will be released on September 18th. Oh, you meant "in two weeks", apologies. Then in answer to your question yes, I think she will. Rudimental are also competition as their pre-order has been up for what seems like a year. I really hope Troye Sivan can remain top 10 by the end of the week. 'Wild' is sublime.

September 7, 201510 yr Did you buy it? ME! It's so good. Better than his first EP for me which was also good.
September 7, 201510 yr Iron Maiden over 30k sales ahead of Jess Glynne. :o Must be on for much bigger fire week sales than their last studio album (which did ~45k)! Edited September 7, 201510 yr by Envoirment
