Made In The A.M. = 383,000

Just done a bit of totalling up for the singles for each era, using the most recent estimate I have in the thread (although some are outdated and don't include streams, so this is all very rough!):

1,441,000 = Up All Night singles

1,310,000 = Midnight Memories singles

1,280,000 = Made in the A.M. singles

1,243,000 = Take Me Home singles

927,000 = FOUR singles

That's a pretty impressive showing for the MITAM singles I think! Obviously FOUR is damaged by having one less single than the other albums (and two less than Midnight Memories). MITAM's singles are still selling too, History in particular is showing great longevity, and will be up to 2nd place this coming week, with first place in sight :o Their album sales may be declining (although still far from bad) but single sales are as strong as ever! :cheer:

Their single have done amazingly this campaign, I don't know why the album sales were so low, maybe Zayn leaving, maybe people just thought it was a step backwards idk. it might pick up eventually, am i remembering rightly that Four's initial sales weeks were a little disappointing, especially compared to Midnight Memories, but then sold well over the course of 2015? IDK i could be making that up. But I think Made in the AM will trickle sell quite well, just because it's the newest material pre hiatus.

Also WTF at Take Me Home being second to last?!! :drama: Kiss You and LWWY. I find that shocking :o

I think it's just the fact that album sales in general are declining tbh! Their opening weeks have remained very good, and MITAM was the fastest selling album of 2015 until Adele the following week lol :heehee: FOUR was hindered throughout 2015 by the fact it didn't continue to get promoted - the other albums all had a single in like Jan/Feb time to keep the album selling, this one didn't annoyingly :drama: MITAM should hang around a while I think! It's doing well in the post-Christmas period actually.

Take Me Home had solid sales for all three singles, all have sold upwards of 300k, but nothing above 600k so nothing too exceptional! MITAM doesn't have that yet but I think both Drag Me Down and History can get there at some point in the future.

Ah so my memory was bollocks  oh well  yeah really feel robbed to my core that WDBHG never got a single release (thanks Zayny Days) :drama:

Ah that is true i guess, none of TMH's singles took off really, not in the way others have anyway, which is a shame, because the album is (imo) the best they have done

Where Do Broken Hearts Go will forever be the single that never was :( such a huge missed opportunity! Oh well

Yeah Take Me Home had consistently successful singles but nothing massive on the scale of Steal My Girl/Story of My Life (or WMYB but that was always out of reach for them haha). It's their second highest selling album and not too far off a million either so that's something!

preach it

Yeah, the album isn't too far behind Up All Night in terms of sales, which is amazing considering it didn't have a What Makes You Beautiful to promote it

Indeed :o it did amazingly well! All of their albums have really, MITAM pales in comparison but they weren't gonna be able to sustain the massive sales forever :heehee:
MITAM's sales will do okay over this year though I think, and pull itself closer to the others
We're at around 365,000 now right? I definitely think it will get to 500k. The promo that History is giving them rn, should see them comfortably pass 400k at some point soon, probably about 415/420 I would guess, with the brits promo which they'll get a little of when they inevitably win best music video award (as much as i'm stanning for Black Magic to win  ) and then trickle sales after that should see it get to 500k at some point. I hope anyway, it's too good of an album not to :snif:
History really doesn't deserve to outsell Perfect but it's seeming as though it might at this point. I really wanted to connect with Made In The AM but I find it to be such a boring album. As a pop fan, their albums have gotten worse and worse for me ever since Take Me Home.
