"It will be a lot of dancing. I'm excited about that and she is too," Derulo said of the clip for "Try Me," his duet with Lopez. "I don't think we've seen J.Lo dance with a guy since she danced with Diddy like 10 years ago. But this will be a lot different. It's very conceptual. There are going to be a lot of dancers. It will be a very sexy video." This is Derulo's third single from his album Everything is 4 and it's all about the Caribbean sound. He is making sure he is in tip-top shape for his music video with J.Lo. "I'm in the gym twice a day," he admitted. "If I took off my shirt, you guys might be a little impressed." The "Trumpets" singer is keeping the details under wraps but he did let a little something slip. "I will be shirtless," he said with a grin and laugh. "It's in the concept; the guys have to be really strong. You will understand when you actually see [the video]. It's a competition of some sort." September 16, 20159 yr Cheyenne not happening then? :( forgot how this goes again #flopstan so will have to listen again!
September 16, 20159 yr guessing they're not gonna push 'Cheyenne' in the UK then? This is better anyway, and it'd be good to have Matoma in the charts
September 16, 20159 yr Yaaaaaaaaaaas finally! King better come through! Jenni is on FIRE with her features lately. Back it Up, Mismo Sol and this are phenomenol
September 16, 20159 yr Author I really thought they would push "Cheyenne" in Uk/Europe now that his commitment as a judge on "So you think you can dance" has ended for this season. But oh well "Try Me" got a better reception in terms of itunes position worldwide & millions ofSpotify plays without being an actual single until now.
September 17, 20159 yr Very good decision if they push this over the dreadful Cheyenne. Nice sound to it which is very much 'in' right now & something a bit different from him all the same.
September 17, 20159 yr Good to see this being pushed as the next single. I get the feeling 'Cheyenne' might just have been for the US. It's bizarre for ANY of the UK radio stations to snub it after his huge success with 'Want To Want Me', so I'm thinking it just wasn't sent for ads (or whatever) here. Seeing as it didn't do much in the US, they decided not to launch it over here, perhaps and maybe with WTWM still slaying the charts, didn't want it to get completely overshadowed. 'Try Me' is the easy highlight from the album, so I'm VERY excited for this! *.*
September 19, 20159 yr Hopefully they come back to "Cheyenne" - a standout from Derulo's discography for me. "Try Me" is great though, I can see it rising quite quickly once the video premieres and the airplay kicks in.
September 22, 20159 yr Author It's going for adds on October 20th Jason Derulo "Try Me" (Warner Bros.) http://www.fmqb.com/Article.asp?id=16691
September 27, 20159 yr is it starting to annoy anyone else that he's topless in ALL of his videos? Edited September 27, 20159 yr by CallumDC
January 26, 20169 yr Author This song better be the 4th single in the Us & Uk, because its an obvious hit waiting to become a single( with a music video) just like "Get Ugly". I remember Both songs had the strongest impact on itunes, youtube, & spotify compared to all the other album tracks before & after he dropped his 4th album. "Try Me" particularly was doing really well on itunes & spotify worldwide and showed the strongest potential of international hit, so they cant let that go to waste.
