September 21, 201510 yr Drake Future will be top 3 for sure, but is Ryan Adams really a contender? He has been growing in popularity in recent years, his last two album went top 10. I doubt this one will challenge the top spot, but should be top 10.
September 21, 201510 yr Not impressed by Ellie's debut so far but it's not a very good song given her tremendous back catalogue
September 21, 201510 yr Very underwhelming sales for Lana. I expected her to be easily over 25k at this point. Drake will easily overcome that and I imagine it'll be 1) David 2) Drake/Future 3) Lana on Sunday.
September 21, 201510 yr btw Ellie Goulding entered the chart at #165 last week I was wondering where she'd entered. Thought it would be a bit higher than that actually, despite only one day of sales. By my reckoning, #165 means she sold about 3,000 on Thursday which isn't much at all. Edited September 21, 201510 yr by Mango
September 21, 201510 yr wow the album chart is so unstable these days :o will be interesting to see how far ellie goulding and naughty boy have fallen by friday's chart~
September 21, 201510 yr Author Just realised a new album by Ugly Kid Joe, didn't know they were still going, I remember their top 3 single, but the track title escapes me, it was on the Wayne's World soundtrack album.
September 21, 201510 yr Just realised a new album by Ugly Kid Joe, didn't know they were still going, I remember their top 3 single, but the track title escapes me, it was on the Wayne's World soundtrack album. They had a couple of songs charting. Just checked on Polyhex, and out of them I could remember Cats In The Cradle. It was a fantastic song (but I don't think it was the soundtrack)
September 21, 201510 yr He has been growing in popularity in recent years, his last two album went top 10. I doubt this one will challenge the top spot, but should be top 10. I don't think he's really been gaining in popularity so much as retaining it in the face of declining sales, but still fair play to him. However I don't think that means a download-only in-joke is going to be a serious Top 10 challenger in a busy week.
September 21, 201510 yr Hopefully, Demi's Cool For The Summer can scrape top 15 for another week, and Confident debuts in the top 40 Edited September 21, 201510 yr by BlazingLovatic

September 21, 201510 yr I don't think he's really been gaining in popularity so much as retaining it in the face of declining sales, but still fair play to him. However I don't think that means a download-only in-joke is going to be a serious Top 10 challenger in a busy week. He is more popular now than he was several years ago. The album is #3 on itunes, it will likely fall, but it'll still do pretty well.
September 21, 201510 yr Author Everything About You? That's it, thanks... I also remember Ballroom Blitz around the same time, as both tracks were taken from the same album. I grab my anorak now
