This is so good, the "keep on hoping we'll eat cake by the ocean" really puts me in mind of This Summer by Maroon 5! The song in general is very Maroon 5 anyway, really impressed by this.

This is SO catchy and infectious. Yes, it does sounds like a hybrid of everything Maroon 5 have ever done but I don't care.

 

However, eating cake by the ocean just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. What about when a fierce wind picks up and blows sand onto the frosting? No one wants to get sand between their teeth. :(

And if it were 'A Series of Unfortunate Events', you'd be eaten by leaches.
