1. 'Colourblind' :gold2:

With a staggering 100% of voters opting for 'Rushes' as their least favourite of the remaining two, 'Colourblind' is the winner with ease! 'Colourblind' was Darius' first single, released in 2002. It is his only number 1 hit and also his signature song, so it seems the taste of BuzzJack very much correlates with the GBP on this one.

2. 'Rushes' (11 votes | 100%)

3. 'Incredible (What I Meant To Say)' (10 votes | 55.56%)

4. 'Live Twice' (6 votes | 42.85%)

5. 'Kinda Love' (7 votes | 38.89%)

6. 'Girl In the Moon' (7 votes | 41.18%)

Many thanks to everyone who participated (and also to Bré/Pusheen for co-hosting)! :D

Fantastic winner, Colourblind still sounds fantastic today!

I'm with you there Meg.

It is not my favourite of his songs. There are so many others much better.

I'm glad I didn't have to do this.

I'd have put Colourblind as favourite too.

I'd have jettisoned Kinda Love first. IMO it was the worst of the upbeat tracks on Live Twice. Years later, Only You, Stars Crash Down and How Do You Like it still get stuck in my head but NEVER Kinda Love.

It certainly wasn't helped by the first issue to radio etc which had some weird production effect and had to be reissued.

Like others, the singles were not my favourites.

If they were trying to show a different Darius, I would have gone with Mercury Rising as the ballad not Girl In The. Moon. I'd have put out Dive In as a single.

Rushes just edges Incredible for me because of the live performances and Live Twice edges both of those because it still moves me every time I hear it.

I still like the single which got away, the one heard tantalisingly once only on PI2 but apparently never completed - Right Girl Wrong Time

I feel very much the same, BT, about the singles.

Colourblind certainly isn't my favouite but the opening cords always get me, probably because it was his first.

Mercury seemed to really blow the budget on Darius' videos excluding Girl in the Moon. Maybe that's why they didn't seem to do much else to promote him.
Mercury Rising is the one I'd love to hear again. We nearly got it at the end of The London run of 'Funny Girl'

I'd played the track over and over but hearing Darius sing it live in Belfast was breathtaking. Just Darius and his guitar and one spotlight on him. Definitely hairs on the back of the neck time.

It was quite far into his set and the upbeat songs had got everyone moving and being a little loud, but when Darius sang Mercury Rising, you could hear a pin drop

Belfast was where I first met all the divas and disciples. They weren't hard to spot. The banner was massive.

Good times!
