With their fortunes miraculously turned around thanks to frontman Preston's stint on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, The Ordinary Boys found their brand of ska-flavoured lad-rock catapulted to the dizzy heights of the charts. Heavily influenced by the tabloid exploits of Preston and Chantelle and the band's whirlwind reversal of fame, 'How To Get Everything You Ever Wanted In 10 Easy Steps' also finds the band experimenting with new sounds, thanks to the introduction of fairly unknown producer/ DJ Plastic Man. September 23, 200618 yr Top 30 I think, if not top 10 and a quick drop-out. Not many fanbase sales based bands go in the top 10 albums these days, but seem to do the same in the singles, or got top 20 with a quick fall-out. Gone off Ordinary Boys now,and it seems appeal is pretty low as a band anyway, as "Brassbound" only sold something like 110,000, good for someone who is little-known or a newcomer, but for a band who are all over the papers, it's quite a let-down.
