Very little 'dancebloc' representation in this semi but the few dance songs there are seem to have a bit of appeal beyond that. Lots of the ones I haven't bolded are those entries who are a little against the BJSC norm, assuming the wide appeal pop songs will get many of the points. That's mainly because it's a pretty strong semi for me at least and there's little to distinguish it in my mind, but there's always room for a few upsets.

I get it's a bit of an old skool sound for modern day BJSC so is probably borderline at best but it's really quickly becoming one of my absolute favourite songs of the year, something I can't sadly say about any of my other entries in 2015 oops...

October 11, 20159 yr The curse of the 9th contest of the year striking yet again - The Actual Republic of Bellamia have NEVER qualified in the 9th contest :drama: The curse began with Ryan only allowing 14 qualifiers in BJSC49 and then I came 15th :) x
October 11, 20159 yr Oh wow, starting off well for me. Would be nice to qualify with a fun little pop song, not often I send them, really. Yes, What would be a fantastic qualifier. I haven't heard most of the other songs from either semi yet but I'm sure that song would stand out (hopefully in a good way) in pretty much any BJSC. It did get on the plug playlist ^_^ Make it happen, semi 2, please!
October 12, 20159 yr Author I really hope I get another pop qualifier. "Ghosts" seems to be more appealing than "Catch A Star For You" was so that's a good sign.
