Swedish House Mafia go one better with a track I never expected to finish so highly but proved it had a widespread appeal in this rate. Both songs here received only one '0' score each and nine '10s' between them so fully deserve their top 10 placings.

This is definitely my favourite on the edition so it's great to see it end up so high. Into the top 5 and it's Shontelle with Impossible. A very popular song in this rate with two '11s' and a lowest score of '2'.

In fourth it's perennial achiever Katy Perry with, very apt for this time of year, Firework. It was the only track in the top 17 to pick up a '-1' score but managed top 4 nonetheless. Winning the bronze medal award are The Saturdays, very regular visitors to the top 10 in these rates, with Higher. Only one track could better its tally of nine '10' scores. Which leaves us with the titanic battle of Get Outta My Way Vs. Only Girl (In The World)!
November 1, 20159 yr Katy On A Mission was really unpopular on BJ when it was released wasn't it? How times change! (good song tho) Shame Green Light couldn't have a similar turnaround in affection, criminally low, the bridge and chorus melody are SO good and the production is completely on point.

It still managed a joint-highest three '11' votes so the fans were out there in force. So that can only mean lead track of the edition Only Girl takes the victory! Rihanna was on fire in this period and it's considered one of her finest songs. Remarkably, it didn't pick up a single '11' score but nearly half of them were 10s which proved decisive in the end. Neither track scored lower than 5 so one thing is clear, nobody hating on these! A deserved top 2 and moreso a deserving winner!
