Liking him or not doesn't make his voice any more or any less awful. I hated Fleur on X-factor for example but unashamedly love Sax and how she sounds on it.

 

In your opinion. I love his voice on this.

 

As for Fleur, autotune can do wonders :) I think her voice is extremely weak and sounds strained on Sax but I don't feel the need to say so every time she is mentioned.

 

Its just a matter of taste and not fact.

There's nothing wrong with you liking Ben, and of course we encourage opinions being shared, but it feels like you're trying to belittle Fleur's incredible success so far today. You may not like the song but it's surely clear why it's doing so well (and autotune is not the reason...).

Fleur was always going to do better than Ben, it just so happens that X-Factor voters more than usually go for male winners because the types of people that vote on TV shows are generally not the same people that buy music. Hence Fleur going to #1 on iTunes last year, but still not getting the votes.

They were the two finalists of X-factor and have both dropped their singles around the same time, people have eveyr right to compare them.

I completely agree with Torres in the weakness of her vocals (i don't think she's THAT good a singer imo sounds like Alexandra Burke part 2 if I'm deadly honest :heehee: ) but aside from that the song is very catchy so I can definitely see why it's doing so well even if it sounds similar to that of 'Uptown Funk'.

I'd be surprised if Sax didn't finish ahead of In2 this week, especially once it's exposure grows. Both could be long-running hits though.

Ben's album, I fear, beyond maybe some half-decent first week sales will be absolutely swallowed in Q4. I don't Expect FE's to do much better, but I imagine she'll recover a lot better over the year.

I think it could debut in the top 5 definitely, but it all depends on her Spotify streams. I would say it would debut at #2 if it wasn't for streams.
