Hi Ultra

100 Same, not one of her best really.

099 It is incredible, just never listen to it because of her Spotify problem.

097 A good pop song but just got old way too quick.

096 Definitely, doesn't get as much as attention as I think it deserves.

Thanks UV!

Hi Rob

Yeah Carly is going to be rather high in many many charts I reckon, I don't see how people prefer RAWM of her two hits this era though?

Thanks Rob!

Yeah, the lowest position for #1 on my list, just got old wayy to quick.

Thanks Spadz!

092 Wolf Alice - Freazy (12-8-8-11-22-38-...) 6 weeks (SO FAR)

091 Everything Everything - Distant Past (33-21-21-17-45-x) 5 weeks

090 Nothing but Thieves - Wake Up Call (22-17-16-13-13-20-36-42-50-x) 9 weeks

089 Gorgon City feat. Romans - Saving My Life (9-7-9-15-28-45-50-x) 7 weeks

088 Ella Eyre - Good Times (7-7-7-7-16-18-22-29-9-15-34-x) 11 weeks

Freazy - I actually prefer Wolf Alice's slower tracks compared to their more high energy tracks and this is a great example as to why, I love the mumbling delivery of the lyrics and the chill sound to it. Stuff like this Bros and Swallowtail appeal to me much more.

Distant Past - Talking of high energy, that's what Everything Everything do best, this was a great return from them and really set my hype running for the album, it was a catchy fun track and it does its job very well.

Wake Up Call - This is the highest Nothing but Thieves track, yes, it does sound a lot like the previous singles but they kept on improving as they established their sound more and the hooks got further into your head meaning this is my favourite. The chorus is a real killer.

Saving My Life - Gorgon City didn't do to well with this officially but it provided them with a nice run on my chart, a catchy chorus and their second best track for me. Nothing too revolutionary but a catchy tune with some top production :music:

Good Times - This had a really long run on my chart for a song appearing this low but now I just turn to Comeback or Together if I want an Ella Eyre song because they do the same job but better and fresher. This was just the last track to use the same formula so it sounds a lot more recycled so I tend not to go back to it as much despite being hyped for it at the time as shown by its chart run.

Loving all five of them :cheer:

Wolf Alice - Freezy Is Slowly creeping on me but not enough to chart it :(

EE - Loving this so much still such a bop

NBT - Never been a massive fan of this :(

GC ft Romans - Not bad but I do this was a buzz single

Ella Eyre - Such a good feel song

087 Nicki Minaj feat. Drake & Lil Wayne - Truffle Butter (13-25-40-7-14-26-20-20-21-27-30-41-46) 13 weeks

086 J. Cole - Apparently (39-6-3-12-32) 5 weeks

085 Rae Sremmurd - No Type (44-44-35-27-37) 5 weeks

084 Rihanna - Bitch Better Have My Money (1-1-2-3-6-12-11-17-33-48-xx[5]-48) 11 weeks

083 SOAK - Sea Creatures (26-16-9-12-15-24-41) 7 weeks

082 Nicki Minaj - The Night is Still Young (14-18-9-9-17-25-36-43-50-31-26-37) 12 weeks

081 Mumford & Sons - Believe (22-26-42-xx[1]-34) 4 weeks

080 Iggy Azalea feat. Jennifer Hudson - Trouble (39-24-xx[4]-30-46-xx[5]-28-22-17-14-13-17-26-42-50) 13 weeks

Truffle Butter - I suppose this is quite low for a Nicki Minaj song but even now it just doesn't excite me loads, they all do a fine job but I've never learned the lyrics off by heart or had the urge to play it randomly so that's why it is one of Nicki's weakest for me.

Apparently - This had a really short chart run for a #3 hit but it's had a long last impression me so it earns this position here, I still love listening to this and his intricate wordplay and interesting production, probably his best song yet but just excited for new stuff now.

No Type - Never thought I'd be a fan of these guys because their songs are a bit messy but they are a massive guilty pleasure, their music isn't great but it is SO much fun to listen to. This is one of their best because it's so instantly quotable and a lot of fun at parties too.

Bitch Better Have My Money - I did go a bit overboard with my hype for this to begin with just because it was new Rihanna so it had a fairly short chart run and is the second #1 to crash out. It is a lot of fun to chant along with but it got old quick and now feels like a thing of the past whilst we anticipate new Rihanna music that will have staying power. Much like FKA twigs' Video Girl from last year, the overly odd video has tainted its appeal for me as well.

Sea Creatures - This is the only SOAK track to appear but she has a lot of lovely songs, this is my favourite though because the lyrics are so touching and she delivers them so personally. A really gorgeous track.

The Night is Still Young - Another song quite low for Nicki but much like TB, it's not very exciting. I do like it a lot when I'm in the right mood but often it just goes right past me, especially the chorus. The verses are pretty fabulous though but this is a poor recreation of Starships etc.

Believe - A very short chart run here but a lovely song, this is another song that just stuck with me and ended up being the song I was most excited to hear again and again when the album was out. It just kept getting better and it builds beautifully up to the fantastic guitar solo towards the end, love their new change of sound so hope they keep it up for the next album.

Trouble - This just works so well because both artists are very sassy and they bounce of each other so well, they deliver the perfect f*** you anthem to all the exes of the world and bring a fun, vibrant video as well as a very catchy chorus and nice bouncing verses. This is a bop and the raps are pretty great, some of the best verses Iggy has done.

092 Wolf Alice - Freazy (12-8-8-11-22-38-...) 6 weeks (SO FAR)

091 Everything Everything - Distant Past (33-21-21-17-45-x) 5 weeks Best from the album, adore this!

088 Ella Eyre - Good Times (7-7-7-7-16-18-22-29-9-15-34-x) 11 weeks Another fantastic Ella single, gosh she deserves to be massive in the charts :(

082 Nicki Minaj - The Night is Still Young (14-18-9-9-17-25-36-43-50-31-26-37) 12 weeks

080 Iggy Azalea feat. Jennifer Hudson - Trouble (39-24-xx[4]-30-46-xx[5]-28-22-17-14-13-17-26-42-50) 13 weeks Most underrated song of the year on here along with Flashlight. So fun, sassy and amazing

TROUBLE  Adore, so much sass. Was love at first listen for me!!

Loving this countdown so far Josh :D

Truffle Butter - Such a underrated track If this was pushed properly I would have charted it :( Such a bop my fave of this era

Apprantly - I did like this not gonna lie, its good

Bitch Better Have My Money - I so wish I charted this, so underrated :(

Sea Creatures - Not as good as Be A Nobody for me but its good

The Night Is Still Young - It was okay

Believe - Such a TUNE

Trouble - Wish I charted this higher tbh

Shame Feel Good just missed your 100, probably my favourite of that selection although I Don't Mind is reasonably enjoyable on occasion :)

Awww at Where Are U Now so low, even with all his great solo singles at the moment I would still rate them below this masterpiece

Even bigger boo to Good Times down there, I think it's definitely her best track. Far more explosive production than Together or Comeback and just listening to the Sigma album recently has backed it up. If I Go is her other solo track anywhere near its level for me :D

No Type is good fun, a lot better than No Flex Zone and I still enjoy BBHMM contrary to the majority on here.

Very interesting stuff so far!

hey Josh! here's what I'm liking so far.

097 Carly Rae Jepsen - Run Away With Me (6-2-1-2-4-5-22-34-41-x) 9 weeks this was a lot better than her actual hit single of the era, shame it didn't properly take off :(

093 Jack U feat. Justin Bieber - Where Are U Now (31-28-30-31-31-18-28-31-31-47-36-37-46-x) 13 weeks

091 Everything Everything - Distant Past (33-21-21-17-45-x) 5 weeks this is quite good. also like No Reptiles

089 Gorgon City feat. Romans - Saving My Life (9-7-9-15-28-45-50-x) 7 weeks bleh, I couldn't get into this it was so weak by their standards

088 Ella Eyre - Good Times (7-7-7-7-16-18-22-29-9-15-34-x) 11 weeks both Ella and Sigma have done better really

087 Nicki Minaj feat. Drake & Lil Wayne - Truffle Butter (13-25-40-7-14-26-20-20-21-27-30-41-46) 13 weeks

085 Rae Sremmurd - No Type (44-44-35-27-37) 5 weeks

084 Rihanna - Bitch Better Have My Money (1-1-2-3-6-12-11-17-33-48-xx[5]-48) 11 weeks tune :music:

kool so far, hope to see more songs I love later on ~

097 Na, IRLY is way more infectious for me.

091 No Reptiles isn't great imo, they're better at uptempo bonkers tracks.

089 I quite liked it, their second best for me behind HFY, just didn't get any support from anywhere though :(

088 I agree there, Comeback and Changing for me

Hopefully so, there is more dance to come. Thank you for commenting :D

Hi Harry

I love Freazy, the chorus always gets stuck in my head as well.

Wake Up Call is their best imo, gets really exciting.

I actually really like it, shame it never picked up any support at all really.

Thank you!

091 OO, they still have another track yet to appear so I have to disagree with you there.

088 She really does, just nobody wants to buy her music :(

080 It is really underrated, glad it got a good peak officially though which Flashlight didn't achieve.

Thanks UV!

TROUBLE  Adore, so much sass. Was love at first listen for me!!

Loving this countdown so far Josh :D

It was quite the grower for me, it wasn't as in-your-face as her previous singles but then I got well into the sassiness of it

Thanks Joseph!

It is a shame it never got pushed properly but Radio 1 weren't really supporting her anyway, it got 1XTRA support but a video would have been nice..

You didn't chart BBHMM? :o thought everyone was quite into at the time, had a lot of cultural relevance.

Yeah, TNISY is just quite good but not the level of excellence Nicki is capable of :(

Thanks Harry!

Shame Feel Good just missed your 100, probably my favourite of that selection although I Don't Mind is reasonably enjoyable on occasion :)

Hi Dobbo

There's still two Blonde tracks to come though so don't be too disheartened! :D

It is quite explosive but not exciting enough to overcome the fact it is so similar, the others did it first and better too imo :/ If I Go was her fave of mine for a while but think Comeback may have pushed it to second now.

Yeah NFZ was catchy but No Type was definitely more of a guilty pleasure, Throw Sum Mo is my fave of them all.

Thank you Dobbo :D

079 Milky Chance - Flashed Junk Mind (25-15-15-8-15-35-35-44-x) 8 weeks

078 Rudimental feat. Ed Sheeran - Lay It All On Me (7-7-9-19-33-32-40-44-39-49-47-...) 11 weeks (SO FAR)

077 Olly Murs - Kiss Me (33-12-17-15-24-25-32-31-47-46-...) 10 weeks (SO FAR)

076 Mike Mago - Outlines (13-6-10-5-11-27-50-x) 7 weeks

075 Jason Derulo - Want to Want Me (31-30-31-27-30-34-27-14-6-5-7-9-27-49-50) 15 weeks

Flashed Junk Mind - I was a fan of Milky Chance anyway but this just really hit me and I found myself playing it every day for ages, just a massive earworm and I love the lead vocalists' tone.

Lay It All On Me - Rudimental haven't been great this era really but this is definitely up there with their best, Ed sounds great and it all feels very polished which really works in its favour.

Kiss Me - This hasn't done as well in terms of peak as his previous singles on both the official chart and my chart but it has stuck around remarkably well in both. For me it was quite a grower and I wasn't getting sick of it at all, it's nice new direction for him whilst maintaining his cheeky chappy image so what's not to like.

Outlines - This is just a great dance track, love the vocals, the drop is fresh and it's not too long so it's a great track to listen to a lot. I was also a big fan of the video with all the colourful silhouettes, that definitely got me hooked as well.

Want to Want Me - This has a very long run for a song this low but nowadays I get a bit sick of it, it's a good pop song but my Dad was in love with it and just kept asking me to put it on so eventually I was tired of hearing it hence its quick drops. It's growing back on me now but not enough to salvage a good position compared to other songs with 15 week runs.

love Outlines, that was big for me last year  shame about its chart run though, that 8-25 fall was painful.

Milky Chance - Such a beautiful song didnt Chart it though as preferred their other songs

Rudimental ft Ed Sheeran - Such a lovely song

Mike Mago - This was okay gald it went top 10 though :D

Olly Murs - This is really good although Up and Wrapped UP this era

Jason Derulo - Love this even though geting annoyed with it tbh

Hi Harry

MC: Oo, for me it is definitely their best single. A big fan of Stolen Dance and Down by the River a lot as well though.

MM: So was I, was never expecting it to do so but it's a great dance track.

OM: For me this is his best single this era. Kiss ME >> Wrapped Up >>>>>> Up (got annoying)

JD: It's growing back on me again now. Reckon it'll sound great in a couple years again!

Thanks Harry :D

Kiss Me and Lay It All On Me are both good songs but absolutely fantastic compared to most of the other songs all 3 artists are putting out in the last year or two!

Kiss Me is definitely the best Olly track to come from his latest album. Prefer a lot of Ed's 'x' tracks though, probably the whole album

Thanks UV!

love Outlines, that was big for me last year  shame about its chart run though, that 8-25 fall was painful.

Yeah I do wish had stuck around longer in the charts, I was shocked it made the top 10 though really. Feels more like a Rumors hit looking back.

Thanks Dan!

I'm not massive on some of these but Outlines is great :music: and Stolen Dance and WTWM are very good also.

074 Ellie Goulding - Army (28-23-7-4-5-10-14-...) 7 weeks (SO FAR)

073 One Direction - Perfect (33-24-29-28-11-9-9-21-27-...) 9 weeks (SO FAR)

072 Fergie - L.A. Love (la la) (16-12-9-5-9-29-46-x) 7 weeks

071 KDA feat. Tinie Tempah and Katy B - Turn The Music Louder (Rumble) (15-6-10-8-9-14-25-34-x) 9 weeks

070 Jamie Lawson - Wasn't Expecting That (42-32-8-10-16-35-35-41-46-50-x) 10 weeks

Army - Not one of the best Ellie singles but she sounds beautiful on it and it really gets good when it starts to build up. Wouldn't have been my single choice and I've struggled to get into it as much because she's not really pushed it but it remains a lovely track.

Perfect - Not one of 1D's best at all but it was a real grower as illustrated by the chart run above. It's has a nice tune to it and I love hearing more of Harry on it because he has the best voice imo. Nothing too interesting but a lovely little track.

L.A. Love (la la) - Quite a short chart run here but I still love listening to this. It's a complete mess but so much fun to listen too, Fergie name-checking all the places of the world to a catchy tune, what's not to love?

Turn The Music Louder (Rumble) - another track that deserved a longer run but there were lots of new entries the week this dropped out. A high-energy dance stomper, Tinie provides catchy verses, KDA with some banging production, and Katy B with some insane vocals, especially in her ad libs

Wasn't Expecting That - Everyone seems to hate this but I think it's really gorgeous. Ed does this thing better really but the lyrics are really touching and the hook gets jammed inside your head too. Sung with lots of emotion and I think it's really touching.
