SB really isn't as great, a nice little song but this is way better. 23. For me this is one of the big highlights, SITWYM and Aftertaste are my next two <3 15. I totally agree with you there, it just has way more catchy jamness to it. 19. I gotta disagree there, this just has more fun imo. Thanks Spadz! Brilliant chart josh. Lots in line with mine once again. I loved your commentary, I still don't get why Pray To God didn't do better than it did? Jessie's CK Is such a special song and I really wish she'd chosen it as single 3 instead of You and I forever, as YAIF sucked up 3 weeks A-list that CK could have gotten, and I'm sure it would have been big for Jessie. Probably even top 40! Double Little Mix top 10*.* Hi Joe PTG was just such a random flop considering it's such a good track and following so man hits. Oh I love YAIF but I do agree CK could've probably been a bigger hit without it, at least she got some hits this era though Thanks! Josh, I am the floppiest of all floppy chart commentators as I've been checking in with this since November but never let you know until now! Sorry about that. :snif: Regarding albums, there's a lot I really like, especially 'Purpose', 'Nothing But Thieves' and 'FROOT', and it's good to see 'Delirium' do well with you because I agree that it's underappreciated in general. There's lots of great stuff on that (which I should really make a new tracklist/playlist from) but it lacks quality control/is overlong IMO. 'Every Open Eye' is a weird one for me as I've found it all too cohesive the few times I listened, which meant the individual tracks as well as the overall thing left little impression...but then I also think I was distracted at those times so I dunno  (but your praise is promising)! Also, your bit on James Bay's album has convinced me to buy it for my parents lol. I listened to it ages ago and remember being impressed but my mum and dad randomly went crazy for his voice when they saw him on Jools on NYE (albeit when they'd been going heavy on the Prosecco) so I'm thinking the album could go down well! Too many good songs featured here to mention but big shout-outs to the love for Katy B's ad libs in 'Turn The Music Louder (Rumble)', 'Kamikaze', the Selena tracks (I think THWWIW was #24 for me last year :o), 'You & I (Forever)', double Jess in your top 20 (I realise DBSHOY is similar musically to 'Hold My Hand' but, like you, I much prefer the former...in fact I actually can't stand the latter, weirdly), and it's always good to see 'FourFiveSeconds' appreciation as it tends to get an unfairly hard time. <3 As for predictions, I'm gonna guess Taylor for the top spot (or failing that, 'Love Me Like You') but am rooting for 'Lean On'. :D Oh, that's OK Noah, we all get busy especially over the hols! I don't actually think it is overlong, I suppose it could be shorter but I never think any tracks are bad so I don't mind. I think most parents would like a James Bay album, it definitely is something that would appeal to a lot of people and it's pretty decent stuff anyway. I do like HMH but DBSHOY is just so much more special and uplifting, glad someone shares that view with me. Thanks for all your comments, lovely to have such in depth responses <3 Think you might be a bit off with your Taylor prediction there but all will be revealed soon :P HEY. Still don't get On My Mind :( She lost me this era, i'm afraid. Good to see Sorry, Big Girls Cry, Champagne Kisses () and I Really Like You here! Getting into the top 10 eek, my big favourite is Elastic Heart but liking most of them (Meghan aside <_<). I'd predict a Little Mix win but who knows!? :o Excited nonetheless~Hey Balll OMM is really fantastic, so energetic! Shame your view seems to be the consensus atm :( Don't think you'll be happy with where Meghan finishes there then but glad you're loving something in the top 10 ! Thankk you! Meghan Trainor - Lips Are Movin (#1, 5 weeks) Little Mix - Love Me Like You (#1, 7 weeks) Taylor Swift - Bad Blood (#1, 1 week) Little Mix - Black Magic (#1, 1 week) Major Lazer feat. MO & DJ Snake (#1, 5 weeks) Sia - Elastic Heart (#2) Pia Mia feat. Chris Brown & Tyga - Do It Again (#1, 2 weeks) Like all of these and love Major Lazer, Sia and Meghan especially, 'Lips Are Movin' is my favourite of hers with BWID and LIGLY following behind!. I'll comment on your rundown again when you've recapped and i'll comment from where I left at :P LAM is by far her best for me too, BWID and DFH slightly behind, LIGLY is a bit lacking in personaliy compared to her other imo! There will be a full recap in the the OP later tonight! thanks Rob! Good to see another fan of FourFiveSeconds here, its performance in my EOY pales in comparison to yours! Dear Future Husband & Don't Be So On Yourself are both excellent tracks from each artist, only Right Here tops it in terms of Jess' solo stuff for me. Hi Dobbo FFs is really quite under-appreciated, definitely deserves more vocal fans because everyone just seems to 'like' it. Right Here is one of Jess' weakest for me, a phenomenal chorus but all the others just have better ones imo! :P Thank you! some great songs in the top 20 so far. absolutely love 'Don't Be So Hard', Jess' voice on record is just simply amazing!!! also '679' one of my faves of the year, it's near enough the same position in my EOY too though it only ever peaked at #9 for me. 'FourFiveSeconds' was a great Rihanna comeback too, she and Bieber are proof that uptempo acoustic songs can be great. I expect it'll be between Little Mix and Meghan Trainor for your #1 but I hope Major Lazer does it as I actually love that song. Hi Dan Jess does have one fantastic voice, I think it works live for her too even though a lot of people seem to not be fans Some tracks just don't hit you until it's too late, same happened for me with Trap Queen until I realised I was properly loving it. Yeah, I do hope we see more tracks with that sound ni the charts now you mention it, they do really work well. Think your prediction there is pretty spot on dan, you know me too well! Hi Josh, I like these, Poor Carly just missing out :( My fave here other than Carly is Tinie, Jessie, Rae and Jess Glynne  Hi Harry #11 is still fantastic for someone who I never thought would even have another song on my radar again! Glad she had a good comeback anyway :D Thank you!

Kendrick Lamar - Bad Blood (10-16-4-2-2-4-1-2-6-8-15-10-12-16-17-27-38-44-48-x) 19 weeks Love Me Like You - A lot of you guessed right then, tallying an unrivalled 7 weeks at the top spot on my chart there could be no other than Little Mix at my top spot this year. This really does remind me of a Black Heart Part 2 and I love it every bit as much, it feels like it has about five hooks in it that are all incredibly catchy, the final chorus with all the ad libs just feels like a perfect end where all the hooks come back together and meet and you have those lovely ooh ooh oohs over it. The video is spectacular and very personality filled which is great as I've fallen in love with them this era and every performance has been 10/10. Such a fun track and deserves no less than my #1 of 2015. Lips Are Movin' - Talking of fun tracks this is pretty much the epitome of fun song, it's short and just catchy and bubbly from start to finish. Much like LMLY it has many hooks and the video is another vibrant and personality-filled experience. This one still sounds great when I hear it even after it being my most played song ever on last.fm and I just can't refuse a little jig when I hear it. Lean On - The highest dance track here goes to that fabulous Lean On, just a production masterpiece from the start, it's unique, it's upbeat, it's energetic and it has all the things I love in a dance track. It has killer vocals too but my favourite thing has to be that incredible drop after the second verse, it just sounds so fresh every single time  Hey Mama - I know a lot of people hate this but it just has so much energy that it sounded so good every time, Nicki brings all the fierceness I love to her delivery, Bebe provides a catchy chorus and the production is excellent all the way through and my head can't resist just bopping. My favourite thing in this is when it all explodes in the end and we get a weird zippy noise in the instrumental and it all gets even more energetic, some good ad libs from ole Nicki too <3 Somebody - The highest non-#1 of the year goes to Natalie La Rose, just a perfect slice of R&B that is executed incredibly well. The video is a delight with some great choreography, the chorus is banging and we even get a bit of Jeremih flava added to give it a bit more oomph, still a huge shame this dropped out of the official chart so quickly. Black Magic - Little Mix are definitely one of the more successful artists on my EOY list of 2015 but they deserve every bit of it when they deliver pop bangers like this, it has some of the catchiest verses I've ever heard, an incredible chorus, an even better video than LMLY's and just so much fun. Another track with some pretty great ad libs to sing along with towards the end as well. Elastic Heart - For me, Sia does soaring choruses the best of anyone and I love how big this chorus sounds because the verses are a lot quieter and then it just bursts into this fabulous chorus and she really goes for it and it's just such a moment even though it almost seems effortless. This was the peak of her videos too for me, I loved how interesting the choreography was to watch, definitely had replay-ability. Worth It - This is just one massive tune all the way through, it has catchy verses, it has one of the catchiest instrumental hooks of all time and some pretty fierce ladies just sassing their way through the whole thing. I love the video and all the choreography too. I do think this would work better without Kid Ink but I do like his raps nonetheless - I would just rather more Fifth Harmony! Do It Again - Take pretty much everything I said for Somebody and add it here, it has a catchy chorus, some fun choreography, some extra flava provided by Chris and Tyga, just a nice little pop/r&b tune that works really well for what it is. Bad Blood - Taylor didn't make the top 10 last year (mainly due to Blank Space being too recent at the time) but she does it this year at least, she released yet another pop stomper and made it sound even more fresh with the help of a rap remix. I do still prefer the solo version to this day but I think the remix for re-igniting a spark which made me love it all over again after I'd burned out the album. The video is one of my favourites this year because it's just so fun to watch this weird celebrity bitch fight ensue on screen
January 5, 20169 yr Love Me Like You is such a fantastic song, my favourite from Little Mix now, I think. I didn't know you stanned for it so hard. Come to their forum plz. Great top 10 for the rest part; but I just cannot condone that THING at number 2 or Hey Mama. But u really love everything else. <3333
January 6, 20169 yr Amazing top there Josh, I like every single song there. Which is very good. I kinda knew Love Me Like You would be number one :D The chart run is amazing here so it's no surprise. Major Lazer and David gutta two dance songs I liked a lot  Black Magic is also very good. Great pop Banger  Finally in my quick summary very great to see Bad Blood here it is my personal song of hers this era

Little Mix - Love Me Like You (3-1-1-1-1-2-2-2-1-2-3-1-1-4-4-...) this winning despite having nowhere near its full run *.* nice song though, very laid back vocals and reminds me of ABBA  02. January 6, 20169 yr HI JOSH. Fantastic #1. They're on fire this era, I need many more singles to come (if only so we can get the videos which have also been on point!). Can't get into Meghan sorry. 'Lean On', 'Somebody', 'Black Magic' and 'Elastic Heart' I am really loving in the top 10 too  Fab chart Joshy ~
January 8, 20169 yr Yay, what a fantastic top 20. FourFiveSeconds, 679, Don't Be So Hard On Yourself, Lips Are Movin', Lean On, and Elastic Heart are all very high up there for me as well <3 Was very glad Doin' It did so well for Charli, wasn't as impressed with Body On Me but hopefully Rita can find a massive tune to recover chart-wise with (as I'm not convinced Coming Home will do the trick). A sensational batch of songs on the whole and a great thread/presentation as well! ^_^
January 8, 20169 yr I feel that "Love Me Like You" is the only outlier due to it still being relatively new.
January 8, 20169 yr Hi Josh :D Love your number 1! It really was worth waiting for the new Little Mix album, both the singles are superb pop songs and whilst I personally prefer 'Black Magic', I can easily see why 'Love Me Like You' is your EOY #1. Stephen Fry doesn't know what he's talking about. Fantastic chart on the whole!
January 9, 20169 yr Hey Josh! Love Me Like You never properly clicked with me but it's still nice, so a good #1 :D Also loving Stitches, Doing It, Black Magic, Do It Again and many others, excellent countdown!!
January 10, 20169 yr Good top 10 overall! Most of those I like to some degree, Hey Mama & Lean On my 2 clear faves. Lips Are Movin' was an interesting one, definitely still enjoy it but not on the same level as AATB/DFH for me. Good seeing Worth It & Do It Again so high up, I know they both had great runs in your charts. I'm still feeling Love Me Like You is nothing on Black Magic but I certainly don't dislike it, just find the vocals a bit too childish perhaps. 15 weeks in your top 4 is pretty unrivalled so bravo! Good countdown in all :D
January 11, 20169 yr Hi Josh! :D Ooh, your Top 10 is posted! *.* Let's see what my faves are... 01. Little Mix - Love Me Like You (3-1-1-1-1-2-2-2-1-2-3-1-1-4-4-...) 15 weeks (SO FAR) 02. I thought my chart run for 'Love Me Like You' was pretty good, but yours blows mine out of the water. :o Here's mine so far... [08-01-03-03-08-08-06-05-04-05-08-06-07-06-04-12...] - only one week at #1 in mine, flop tbh. :kink: Your Top 100 overall is excellent!
