Love Me was really bad though, usually they're quite good but it was so noisy and screechy, I agree with 'tuneless' like you say. No redeeming features really, I like their mumbly sound like in Chocolate.

 

Hope Hotling Bling, Sam Smith, Trap Queen or Ayo aren't #1, all are big tunes. Hoping for Waiting For You out of the ones I can decipher on your list, :lol:

9. AVICII- WAITING FOR LOVE: Waiting For You To Flop In The Charts (Which Is Thankfully Happening)

 

Starting the top 10 off is Drake- Hotline Bling. I'm currently listening to Wannabe by the Spice Girls and what an amazing jam and song that is (no relevance here whatsover but Spice Girls love is always a good thing)! However Hotline Bling is not a jam, or a tune, or a song, though it's a piece of crap so it does have something going for it. The song is atrocious, Drake's vocals are atrocious, the chorus is atrocious, the rap is atrocious, the beat is atrocious, the lyrics is atrocious, yeah you get the theme! Horrid song with no redeeming features and the video is possibly worse than the song which says something.

 

And at #9 is King of dance generic and crap music- crapvicci! Levels was amazing, I Could Be The One was very good but practically every single thing after those 2 are beyond dreadful (Days/Nights are bearable though). His worst offering this year comes in the form of the utterly horrific and generic Waiting For Love which thankfully didn't get anywhere near as high in the charts as I was worrying. The beat is awful, uncredited vocalist #745 can't sing to save their life and it is such an awful, dreadful and generic song. Just ugh at this.

8. FETTY WAP- TRAP QUEEN: Crap Queen

7. RIXTON- WE ALL WANT THE SAME THING: We All Want The Same Thing: You To Break Up And Save Our Ears

 

Next up in 8th is Harry's favourite Trap Queen. Gosh it is just 4 minutes of noise and I have no clue how this became anywhere near as successful as it did because really noie and painful to the ears are the only words I can use to describe this horrific track as. Awful awful track that really needs to be wiped from existence.

 

Next up is the world's most irrelevant bobband in the form of the incredibly crap Rixton who started terrible (Me And My Maroon 5 Cover Song), got unbearable (Wait On Me Ew) and have got even worse with this tragedy of a song which thankfully completely bombed in the charts and is hopefully the last we will hear of them. The falsetto/annoying high crappy pitch voice is shockingly awful and is just horrid and the song is so tuneless and just ugh, horrid.

Glad to see Hotline Bling at the bottom of the top 10, for me it's fantastic, love the video and boppiness to the track, really catchy too, even my 2 year old sister bops her head to it :lol:

 

Love Trap Queen too, it's just so catchy! I know like all the words but 679 is even better imo.

 

Waiting For Love is horrid though, he got so boring this era, and everything just became so un-catchy and bland. Quickest decline of interest in an artist I think I've ever had!

6. R.CITY FT ADAM LEVINE- LOCKED AWAY: I'd Rather Be Locked Away Than Ever Hear This Song Again

5. CHRIS BROWN FT TYGA- AYO: Crap-Yo

 

8th and 7th filled in now :)

Just missing out on the top 5 is a song that I really feared would be 100x bigger than it actually has been (I really thought it would still be top 20 at this point in time *shudders*) in the form of Locked Away. When I first heard this on the tv, it reminded me of Rude by Magic and you know how I feel about that song; check last years thread if you somehow don't :P R.City are shockingly bad and need to disappear and this is another awful Adam Levine feature who's only contributed to one good songs in the past 4 years (Sugar). Gosh the song is so dull and boring and is lacking of any tune or excitement and ugh it is painful as bland. Dreadful song.

 

And starting the top 5 is one of the earlier horrors of the year and the 1st of only 2 rap songs in my top 5 :o (Rap can thank Sam Smith for releasing a song twice for this). Ayo is the worst thing Chris Brown has done this decade after Yeah 3x. That is a very strong statement considering the amount of crap is filled in his discography post 2008. Ayo is a tuneless awfulness with horrid raps, horrid lyrics, no tune and disgusting vocals. Nothing positive about this at all and how it beat incredible songs like Doing It on the week it opened is actually heartbreaking :o

I've always found Adam's parts in the song better than the overall song. Without that I'd agree that it's dreadfully average and the rap and noises are so cringeworthy. I did chart it so expect it show up in my top 100 ;)

4. SILENTO- WATCH ME WHIP ME NE NE CRAP CRAP: Watch Me Somehow Make A Worse Song Than Soulja Boy

 

This was so so close to being higher than #4th but I swapped it at the last moment. One thing before I get onto the 'song' itself, thank gosh it wasn't too big of a hit here compared to the US where it was somehow a massive hit :(

Gosh this is really one of the worst songs I've ever heard and it is so unlistenable, always went on mute for me when it was on the chart show. It is like a worse version of Crank That which I didn't actually think was possible but the impossible has been proven in the form of this horror which has formed stupid trends like skanky leg and other crappy things and yeah the absolutely awful rap (lyrically and vocally) murders my ears. It is incredibly irritating and so annoying, would have easily have been the #2nd worst song of 2014 if it was released in 2014.

Just ugh at this and this is the worst thing soloie that Sam Smith has ever done which really speaks levels. Gosh this song is just screech screech screech painful painful screech for 4 minutes and it just doesn't end. I would write a much bigger commentary on why I hate this but he decides to go and re-record it with John Legend so the commentary will be saved for whether the chart murderers version is #1st or #2nd in my chart!
