January 8, 20169 yr Hey Harry! Some great taste throughout this thread as I'd expect~ :D That's a solid #1 single (and #1 album - I've been really getting into HBHBHB lately <3) but I'm particularly happy to see 'She Ain't Me' at #2 because for me that sounded like a hit that never was. Loved it in BJSC and as Jordan said it's generally very underrated so I'm glad it made such an impression on you! Likewise, seeing 'The One' so high is pleasing as it wasn't very popular on Buzzjack when charting, but I was always a fan. For me it's a nicely simple, old-fashioned song and I was really pleasantly surprised to see it manage a few weeks in the top 40, as that's relatively rare for a post-album ballad single these days, especially from an act like Kodaline. Also like a lot of your artist picks for this year - HONNE and Zara would be current faves. Edited January 8, 20169 yr by Noahspike
January 9, 20169 yr Author "Love Me Like You Do" is sensational! The way it builds up is flawless and the final chorus is such a moment   So glad it's Ellie's longest-running #1 now as I far prefer it over "Burn". "She Ain't Me" is a real earworm and seems very underrated, I feel like even I should like it more than I do. Poor Sinead just hasn't broke through yet but she seems talented... I comeplty agree with you on both Sinead and Ellie's song. She Aint Me should have hit the charts :( Ellie's song builds and builds throughout the duration  The only songs I've heard from your top 10 is horrible woman and Ellie, and I'm not keen on the Ellie track at all argh: Great to see Zara on your 2016 Sound of :D Oh dear :( It is indeed :D Interesting #1 choice I must say, nice song though. I love the song  and artist  Hey Harry! January 9, 20169 yr Author HarryFlynn0908's Sound Of 2016 12. Mabel - The Artist In Her Own Right http://static.djbooth.net/pics-artist/mabel.jpg Why: Mabel is the daughter of legendary singer Neneh Cherry so she already has musicality in her blood. However she wants to do music herself and her own right. Boy she sure does know what she wants to be. Funky RNB Soul with a bit pop there too. This singer is destined for success. The London based, Stockholm raised signer-songwriter first got noticed with her song 'Know Me Better as the song got a huge reaction as the song is tender with a truthful element too. Next at the end of 2015 she released 'My Boy My Town' It was clear she was destined for huge things. Nominated for BBC'S Sound of 2015 and only today did Adele tweet about her. I am looking forward to seeing what she does. 7X21ynBma6MI2rNML-1cog 11. Honne - Electronic Duo With Haunting Lyrics And Melodies http://www.ilovepie.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/HONNE.jpg Why: I first noticed Honne when they was BBC Radio's BBC Introducing Track of the week with 'All In The Value'. The songs since have been amazing 'Coastal Love' may be my least favourite so but still so good and you can hear what the song is about. 'Love The Jobs You Hate' a song that features a sample lyric from Cilit Bang commercials proved to amaze me due to its catchy lyrics  New and latest song 'Gone Are The Days' is haunting yet catchy. Not forgetting of course at how amazing the production is. All round excited for this band even though I wish they made the sound of list :( 2dSBarxs3F8zJVdtXeXXEU Edited January 10, 20169 yr by HarryEzra

January 9, 20169 yr Not a fan of your number one but that Tame Impala track reminds me of the summer because Radio 1 was playing it constantly when I was on holiday. The Circa Waves track is really good also. Great countdown overall, :D :D
January 9, 20169 yr Just browsing through this, I guess the main thing to point out is that... I, I don't know if there's any context to Circa Waves but I've just come into possession of their album and T-Shirt Weather was a pretty nice highlight. I'll take Lost Frequencies in the top 10 too, that's rather good. Interesting concept you're doing now, although with Blossoms, I'm very excited for them, they look like they could be a real force for 2016 for me.

I noticed that she has a beautiful voice and really puts the emotion into her songs. Then Let it Out was released and R1 Placed it on their INMWT and really smooth too. Now Frances is on B-list from Saturday and is different as she has worked with Disclosure on her new song 'Borrowed Time' Again so amazing. i am certainly looking forward to her album. The edgy chorus is amazing and one to sing along to well. I am looking foward to new music from Dua Lipa. Mark My Words she like a rebellious Charli XCX. Also there is a lot of Haim going on the song. Really a catchy number so glad it well here and The Uk. -rey3m8SWQINz-dPOjK1gQ Edited January 10, 20169 yr by HarryEzra

January 10, 20169 yr Author HarryFlynn0908's Sound Of 2016 08. Zara Larsson - Swedish Pop Artist Ready To Hit The Charts Why: I first heard Never Forget You featuring MNEK. Since then I have been seeing star quality in here. She has a killer voice and is great at making pop hooks and jams. Zara Larrson's song Lush Life is such a pop banger and I hope when released here it does well officially. She reminds me a bit of Tove Lo maybe because both Swedish thats why. I cannot wait to see what this swedish queen does in the year. GTyN-DB_v5M[tD4HCZe-tew 07. NAO - Quirky RNB Artist From London http://cps-static.rovicorp.com/3/JPG_400/MI0003/960/MI0003960919.jpg Why: NAO is a woman raised in South London. She is signed to Little Tokyo recordings. What makes her unique is her voice. Very danty and quicky but full of soul at the same time. She feels she know whats what she wants to be. She seems to want to make indie RNB music. She has also worked with Disclosure on their recent album and also fellow Sound of contender Mura Masa. I can't wait to hear what she has up her sleeve. Bad Blood and Zillionaire are amazing and worth checking out. R7vHqhRXZpY[nZeQUEohkjk 06. Mura Masa - 19 Year Old Electronic Experimental Artist http://images.shazam.com/artistart/a43809657_s400.jpg Why: Just missing out of top 5 placing is Mura Masa who I previously mentioned in the NAO article. The 19 year old electronic producer is making some great sounds and often experiments with sounds. For instance in Lovesick he uses some tropical drums or something to add to the tropical feel for the song. In Love For That he mainly uses the electronic beats along with some sort of flute percussion in his song. Already collaborating with Bonzai , Nao and Shura on his materail, I am excited as to who he works with next. Either way I am also excited for his music as each song so far has been different, chilled and amazing . fyv5CBCnx6QJas6LwPPxMo Edited January 14, 20169 yr by HarryEzra

Alessa Cara - Teen Angst Real Ness http://static.djbooth.net/pics-artist/alessia.jpg Why: Alessia Cara is a 19 year old Canadian pop RNB Artist set to take the world on. Her breakout track 'Here' recently reached top in the US Bilboard top 100. The track recently starting gaining attention here since she claimed runner up on the annual Sound Of Poll. The track is reliable to not just me but to many others as it is an 'Anti Party Anthem'. I cannot wait to hear her album. 04. Pretty Vicious - Punk Rock from Wales http://i3.walesonline.co.uk/incoming/article8355707.ece/ALTERNATES/s615/JS51439557.jpg Why: I love rock and what gets me excited is finding new Rock artists. This is a band that really gets me really excited for. Having support from Radio 1 and Radio X allready this band is gaining hype. If you like Royal Blood I feel like you would love this band. Check out 'National Plastics' and 'Are You Ready For Me'. 03. Rat Boy - Jamie T-eqse indie greatness http://www.wild-uk.com/images/rat%20boy-400x400.jpg Why: I love Jamie T so no wonder why I like this young indie storyteller. Ever since dropping 'Sign On' He has drawn comparisons to Jamie T. He has since been longlisted in this year's Sound of Poll and had a song ('Fake ID') playlisted on BBC Radio 1 and Radio 6 Music. This young lad is one to watch in the indie scene for sure. Ps: having trouble with Youtube videos on Phone so can't get the code for these artists songs :( Edited January 14, 20169 yr by HarryEzra

If you like Laura Mvula or old Soul Queens like Diana Rossi for example you will like Izzy Bizu. [ /size]R-PIu20kKXMpPnL1CNGpV4 01. Billie Marten - Young Singer-songwriter Why: My Winners is champion I love a haunting singer songwriters so much. They way they convey a story to the audience.
