December 27, 20159 yr ^_^ YOUTH, Body On Me and Style  Really impressed with The Vamps' album with repeated listens! Sounds much better without you there too http://www.skype-emoticons.com/images/emoticon-00157-sun.gif
December 27, 20159 yr I feel like "Style" was too low but very glad I'm not the only one to like "Dance Like We're Making Love".

Eric Nally, Melle Mel, Kool Moe Dee & Grandmaster Caz) - 19-15-17-20-20-22-32-X (7 weeks) 160 Ariana Grande - One Last Time - 34-24-14-13-18-32-38-X-19-34-40-X (10 non-consecutive weeks) Just outside the top 150 now! Ariana Grande kicks us off with One Last Time. The fourth single from My Everything didn't match the chart peak of #1 secured by Problem and Break Free (and Bang Bang (and the album)) but it outpeaked the very average Love Me Harder which was at the opposite end of the spectrum - a #40 hit. One Last Time is a great track and an instant album highlight for me! Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' comeback song was all over the place but I can't refuse how incredibly fun it is, my favourite track of theirs to date. Jamie Lawson first became known to me through his support slot on 1D's tour in September, and at this point, Wasn't Expecting That was hovering around the top 40 on iTunes. I really liked the song, and it leads to loads of rubbish puns too, like how I bet you weren't expecting this song to appear here :basil: 1D themselves appear a couple of positions higher for the first time this year, with a fantastic deluxe track from the new album. Also in this section, Justin Bieber appears with I'll Show You, an album track from Purpose which has been a pretty big hit in the chart on its own merit due to streaming. A James Bay album track is a few places higher too, his last non-single appearance. Apollo 5 are another boyband and Famous makes for a pretty good debut single, although the artwork looks very similar to The Vamps' recent album  Ciara's I Bet was a slow burner for me, a stunning song and very honest about her break-up with Future, followed by former BJSC potential of mine Butterflies by Sammi Sanchez (WHAT DOES THIS REMIND YOU OF?? listen below...Jordan and I have been wondering this for months ), and Cody Simpson with his first single from album Free. Flower is a nice song but for a Cody single, it didn't fare too well in my chart. PICK OF THE SECTION zmBm1AQHdl0
December 27, 20159 yr Downtown is such a jam <3 Really impressed with it, I know it hung around for a while but it really should have been massive over here :(
December 27, 20159 yr Hi Joseph, 153 Ciara - I Bet - 28-27-33-X-32-X-35-21-10-21-29-X (9 non-consecutive weeks) 154 James Bay - Need the Sun To Break - 23-18-17-10-18-29-X (6 weeks) 156 One Direction - A.M. - 14-25-34-… (3+ weeks) 157 Justin Bieber - I'll Show You - 35-28-27-36-… (4+ weeks) 158 Jamie Lawson - Wasn't Expecting That - 15-12-21-30-31-X (5 weeks) 159 Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Downtown (feat. December 27, 20159 yr Hi Joseph Yay at I Bet getting some more attention, so underrated in a charts sense when it should have been a really big hit. Can't really explain why I like it so much but it's so polished and sassy, way better than anything she's ever done before! AM is one of my top tracks on MITAM, I wouldn't make it a single but it's got a love little tune. Shame we won't be getting anything for a while after History because Olivia and Never Enough would make fantastic singles. I'll Show You is one of my favourite tracks from Purpose, would love it to be a single down the line but a bit worried because it's already been a promo single or w/e but it's happened before! It has such nice production and is a bit more interesting than the other slower tracks on the album (even Love Yourself imo!) Lovely stuff
December 28, 20159 yr One Last Time is too low, and BUTTERFLIES   I still don't know what song it sounds like
December 28, 20159 yr Author Thanks everyone once again! Josh - I think I'll Show You could be a single, maybe single #5? I feel like The Feeling is gonna be next. I hope so anyway! Jordan - Me neither :drama: Gonna haunt me til the day I die

Kendrick Lamar) - 40-X-8-14-27-36-X (5 non-consecutive weeks) A section that's almost entirely comprised of top 10 hits now! Taylor appears again with the Kendrick remix of Bad Blood. I like the song a lot more than this placing suggests but I much prefer the album version to the remix I must admit, even if Kendrick's not that bad in it. The video is of course amazing though! Jesper Jenset is a name that will mean nothing to most of you but this is his first appearance of two in my top 150. His music is pretty much standard young male pop but he does what he does very well, and Never Coming Back is packed with hooks to make it a really great song, even if it's not as good as his previous single Superhero. My inner radical P!nk troll is exposed at #148 with her Ellen Show theme tune song. Today's the Day isn't the best P!nk song ever but it's solid and I really wish it got a proper single push, but it's good enough to tide me over until the next album anyway I guess! Hunter Hayes' Light Me Up is a bit of an odd one really because the song made my EOY last year, and it's actually a 2013 song  It was given a pop remix for a UK release in 2015 and whilst I enjoyed it for a period of time, it tired on me quicker than a typical Hunter song would because the production was generic and not even remotely country which is what Hunter does best. The original is much better for me but this is still a nice remix I guess. Infinity is the only non-top 10 hit in this section although if it were set to be the next single still, I imagine One Direction would've been heading for their twelfth #1 with it, like replacement single History is hoping to get soon in my weekly chart. Infinity is a great song and worked well as an instant grat but I think History is a better choice of single (it will appear in my 2016 EOY). Fellow X Factor alumni Fleur East is at #145, with her instant grat song Breakfast, a slick pop song which I'm really hoping is her next single. It's followed by Chlöe Howl, who never seemed to manage a breakthrough and as a result, every song of hers bar this one has now been removed from iTunes, Spotify and VEVO :drama: At the top end of the section, we have the first appearance of two from LunchMoney Lewis, this time with his flop second single Whip It! featuring Chloe Angelides. The song is still fairly novelty like Bills but it's very fun and the kind of novelty I find myself really enjoying rather than hating (something which doesn't happen often). Zedd closes out the section with his ex Selena Gomez, on their song I Want You to Know, which was a bit of a surprise minor hit in the chart this year. Papercut is still to come but this is definitely my second favourite Zedd song overall behind that, didn't tire as quickly as Stay the Night (and Clarity never really hit me in the first place). PICK OF THE SECTION EvNEHatuvao
December 28, 20159 yr 158 Jamie Lawson - Wasn't Expecting That WASN'T expecting to not Thinkingoutlouderise this, it's quite relaxed really but I didn't tolerate this for too long  too repetitive for me also which didn't help. 159 Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Downtown (feat. Eric Nally, Melle Mel, Kool Moe Dee & Grandmaster Caz) fun track, their last few were much better for me though 160 Ariana Grande - One Last Time love this  my favourite track from her and it's amazing in every way even the video is just as great especially seeing her doing something other than prance around with barely any clothes on  love a disaster movie and all the purple and visual effects were perf :D Zedd - I Want You to Know (feat. Selena Gomez) Great track, it's mostly the Selena vocals that do it for me. The fact that this is the best song on the album proves that it's quite weak era for me and Clarity was a much better album, but it's still good. LunchMoney Lewis - Whip It! (feat. Chloe Angelides) very different to the hilarious yet catchy Bills :music: the Chloe vocals do it well here too! Rita Ora - Poison It's good, but Rita Ora is better than this! Fleur East - Breakfast She has another song? :o P!nk - Today's the Day good "comeback" Taylor Swift - Bad Blood (feat. Kendrick Lamar) didn't really get into this but it's great nonetheless, perfect video too!
December 28, 20159 yr 170 Charles Hamilton - New York Raining (feat. December 29, 20159 yr Author Artists http://i759.photobucket.com/albums/xx240/MarthaJonesFan/Cover%20Sleeves/Ulrik%20Munther.png 8 Ulrik Munther Another of my all-time faves now. Ulrik has been someone whose music I've adored for almost three years now, so naturally I was excited for some new music from him. I was more apprehensive when it was announced that he was releasing an album entirely in Swedish. Foreign language songs are not typically my forté, but I listened with an open mind and despite not having a clue what he was saying, I enjoyed the album just as much as his two English language albums. His voice is still as rich as ever and the melodies are strong too, particularly on Nån gång and Närmare himlen. Ulrik's slightly lower than I'd like him to be here just because, as this is an artist countdown, there's not very much for me to invest in as an English fan. Interviews are in Swedish and he doesn't ever tour the UK so I can't get too excited in those aspects unlike with other artists, but I'm holding out hope that one day, he'll play a show in the UK. Just one show. I will travel to Scotland if I have to.

December 29, 20159 yr 'One Last Time' is stunning and needs to be higher! :( I always forget about 'I Want You To Know' existing, such a bop though.
December 29, 20159 yr I wasn't expecting that song to be at #158 :o DAAAHHHTAAAAHAHHNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN :) One Last Time <3 Your Ariana taste is shit as, but yay for that being included! December 30, 20159 yr Author Thanks all! One Last Time is GREAT but post-album singles don't always take off in my chart and EOY quite as much, particularly if I've been loving them since the album release, so One Last Time suffers a tad from that (see also: Bad Blood)

Demi has that and another song still to come! Years & Years make their first appearance of four here with Desire, their first UK top 40 as a lead artist and their first top 10 in my chart. I must admit, when I heard this, I didn't expect myself to fall in love with them to the extent I did with the follow-up singles. King, Shine and Eyes Shut are of course still to come. BJSC entries, plus potentials, are in abundance in this section. The lowest of my own entries appears at #133 with Olivia Somerlyn, who's just behind the artist she supported on tour, Meghan Trainor, at #131. Parachute is a solid pop song and I have no regrets sending it, but it falls behind my other nine entries of 2015 (plus my BJFestivalen entry). I contemplated sending Jess Kent, Sofia Reyes and Dylan Hyde who all appear in this section, but I decided against Jess and sent Eaves instead (that worked out well lol... Eaves is still to come though so I went with the song I prefer). I sent Lia Marie Johnson instead of Dylan, intending to send him the contest after, but Calum beat me to that and sent him in BJSC72. Aside: he looks like he's sneezing in the artwork above Lol. I sent Sofia Reyes' previous single Muévelo in contest 70 and Michael decided to enter her again this year with a song that did better. Boo. Muévelo is way better though #sorrynotsorry Also in this section, Omi's monster smash hit, remixed by Felix Jaehn. Cheerleader was a defining hit of summer for many and it was the signature song of my friendship group at the end of year 13 so I have some nice memories with it! Alyssa Reid makes her ONLY singles chart appearance at #132 this year, she's not added to her list of four chart toppers but Dangerous came close, being pipped to the post by Years & Years' Shine. And finally, X Factor group Only the Young may have split up, but at least we got the pop perfection of I Do before that occurred. It's carefree and fun, which is exactly what pop music should be imo. PICK OF THE SECTION LZCDU0aJqPU
