It was in an absolutely charming way. He was NOTHING like what people were led to believe (given his weird wedding to Liza Minelli - and perhaps his slightly odd looks). He was loved by everyone else in there, threw himself into every task he was asked to do (was bloody good in some of his bush-tucker trials as well), told entertaining stories about his oddly-named house-maid, never made fun or was nasty to other camp-mates. In all - he's probably in the top 5 of the best ever IAC contestants.

 

I knew he was either really nice, or really annoying. I went the wrong way.

Its all a little boring right now. Its too noisy. I want to hear what people are saying. The only bits I've liked so far are David talking to Angie and John, Darren and Daniella in the box.

Yeah, a bit of a boring first show but first nights are all a bit all over the place.

 

Tiffany learning that Gemma's name was in fact Gemma was such a highlight :lol:

Can they please not ruin a potentially brilliant series with a showmance ALREADY :/

 

Really liking Tiffany, Gemma and David after episode 1 ~

Tiffany and Gemma are the stars of the show for me right now. I will never get the Gemma hate, she is so unintentionally hilarious :lol:.

 

I also really like David, Jonathan and Stephanie so far.

Yeh, first episodes are always a bit all over the place due to everyone being in this adrenaline rush and not really knowing each other (although there's a lot of connections this year~). The first episodes have been a lot better of Channel 5 though as they rush through the previous nights events whereas I remember Channel 4 usually took up at least half the episode with the housemates coming in, ie what we'd already mostly seen.

Stephanie and Gemma are my early favourites! Both shone for me so much in that episode.

I'm both annoyed and a little bit in love with Gemma in equal measures! I'm hoping the reason she's angling for a romance and bedshare between that girl she was talking to and Bellend is because she wants a bed to herself!

 

She's increasingly reminding me of Diana Dors as well. Good gosh - if they ever do a TV film of Diana Dors' life - they've got to consider Gemma to portray her.

 

Not really buying the "Well it's the first night... so..." crap. We've had amazing first nights on both Civilian and Celebrity Big Brothers before. This cast just sucks. That's all it is.

I think with we've seen all we're going to get from the likes of Daniella (Passive Aggressive with Chris & Snarky), Gemma (Flakey, Non-Threatening and Likeable) and the Invisible Edits from Scotty T and Jeremy.

 

I don't think we're in for any surprises this year, everyone has their parts and I think for the most part, they're playing them.

I think Tiffany, David and Angie are probably the most likely to be given a character development edit.. everyone else will just be as is from what we've seen so far.
