Back to normality in qualifying. The good old qualifying system. Fantastic front row for Ricciardo there.

Fabulous race. So much drama and excitement.

I won't spoil it for anyone who didn't get up at 7 to watch it live but let's just say that the highlights show is going to find it hard to cut much

Yes! Considering there wasn't a single retirement (remarkable going by the mayhem of the first few laps) it was breathless stuff most of the way through. The Only negative was there was never any battle for 1st but the fights midpack more than made up for that.

Good fun watching Hamilton, Ricciardo & the 2 Ferraris fight through the pack.

An afternoon treat that was just wish there was more of a battle for 1st place though.

Interesting argument between Vettel and Kvyat post-race over the first lap dramas. Don't see what Vettel is arguing about there he still finished ahead of Kvyat.

Another Rosberg win- His 7th win in a row which equals the amount of wins that Schumacher had.

Another first corner clash between Vettel and Kvyat there.

Indeed. And not forgetting Barrichello's awful accident that same weekend in which he was very lucky to recover from too.

As for the race I gotta say the Vettel team radio rant was hands down the hardest I've laughed in YEARS  chaotic first few laps but overall a pretty eciting race actually. Lewis doing a fine job battling back to second & good to see McLaren among the higher points again.

Great to see Renault score points!! It's been far too long since I could celebrate that. Great performance from KMag. Words cannot describe how happy I am that Crashtors' cash fell through.

Some driver swap today as Red Bull have demoted Daniil Kvyat to Toro Rosso following his collisions with Vettel in China and in Russia. He will replaced by Max Verstappen who will take over his seat until the end of the season. Very interesting there.

A little bit brutal like. Motorsport.com analysis pointed out that Max has a contract clause that states next year he is at RBR or is fair game so this gives them a chance to see what he's really made of.

Kvyat did finish third in China though although at the end of the day this has everything to do with Helmunt Marko. It'll be interesting to see how Verstappen does in the Red Bull.

That is ruthless even for Marko's standards. Clearly that word the golden boy Vettel had in Horner's ear in Russia played a huge part.
Yes now you say that, I think Vettel's word with Horner must have played a part, it'll be interesting to see what was said there.

That was the most incredible race I've watched in years, absolutely unbelievable Max Verstappen! Marko's decision vindicated 100%.
To be honest I was unhappy with Red Bull's decision and always thought Verstappen is overhyped, but what he showed today was incredible and I'm glad Ferrari couldn't make an advantage of the double disaster of Mercedes. Ferrari chiefs are very opinionated in the last couple of months and have very high expectations and I was cheering for a Red Bull double, shame Ricciardo couldn't finish second (or first). Anyway I'm happy for Verstappen, he proved he could be a future world champion!

No further action taken on the Mercedes collision, I am surprised I thought they were going to swing one way!

This will be fascinating now throughout the remainder of the season. The team certainly weren't as outraged as at Spa 2014, I think they knew this would inevitably happen again at some point & are willing to let this one maybe slide but if it were to happen again... oh boy!
