10. Maroon 5 – This Summer [9-2-3-4-3-1-1-1-2-2-3-2-2-4-7-10-12-16-21-23-26-30-34-38-38-xx] 25 Weeks

9. Anastacia – Army Of Me [1-3-4-3-3-4-] *Still Charting*

Kicking off the top 10 here is Adam Levine and his backing band. The single to promote their re-issue of the amaze V, the song features many many f bombs and as per with Maroon 5 singles here, most people hated it, me however, I loved it. Best single after Animals from this era. As opposed to most people here I adore Adam's voice. The song bombed a bit but we get to see Adam's butt in the video, so it is really a flop in this case?

The second new song from Anastacia's GH and it's a cover of the best song from X-tina's Lotus album. A surprising choice of cover but if you listen to the lyrics it seems fitting for Ana to cover it. A different sounding version to the original, a bit faster and darker, it works really well and sounds like an original Anastacia smash tbh.

7. Brandon Flowers – Can't Deny My Love [1-1-1-1-2-2-3-5-1-2-5-8-12-14-18-18-20-24-26-27-33-37-xx] 22 Weeks

6. Nick Carter – I Will Wait [3-2-2-2-4-3-6-5-3-] *Still Charting*

Last appearence for Jenny Lo and once again she appears as an added extra to a Latin single. This time she gets more airtime and sings both in Spanish and English depending on what version you downloaded. A lovely summery song that you can't help but bop along to.

Brandon Flowers' new album did not live up to expectations but he set the standard high with this lead single from it. 80's glam rock supremeness in the form of this song, easily up there with the life changingly good Crossfire.

Nick Carter made his return to music around the same time as he appeared on Dancing With The Stars and this was the first taste of it. A beautiful ballad that really gave no indication to the album since it is the only proper slow song on it, but it's still one of the best there, a nice end to the album.

I approve of Jennifer & Brandon *.*

Has 'Roads' appeared yet? I am too lazy to check. :kink:

Tina Arena's boobs make an appearence with the upbear amazingness that is Overload, from her amazing album Eleven. God bless Radio 2 for playlisting this and for alerting me to the awesomeness. The kinda thing that I love, soft pop-rock ish delivered to perfection from a talented singer.

Lawson are bae. Nobody seems to like them but Andy and his backing band will always be in my heart. Not much of a different sound to their slayage of a first era, but who needs to change perfection? Shoulda done better tbh.

Not fussed on any of that top 10 :( Except aybe Maroon 5.

3. Ben Haenow – Second Hand Heart [36-xx-12-8-1-] *Still Charting*

Ben Slaenow.

I have already stated that I have made a huge 180 on this guy and it's all down to this tune. Expertly produced, great lyrics and a decent vocal delivery too.

It underperformed in the charts but tbh, the charts are dreadful so who cares? It's easily up there with the best X-factor debut singles for me.

Two more songs left, anyone care to guess what?

Yeah, I wasn't all that fussed by Ben Haenow in the live shows, not until he performed 'Something I Need' on the final which just suited him perfectly. 'Second Hand Heart' is great too, much better song than I expected Syco to give him. Can't see him lasting beyond this album unless he gets a new record label fast.

Kylie and Madge for the Top 2 please.

An all ballad all slayage top 2.

The only proper solo J-Lo single of the year and it was from the animated movie Home. A really gorgeous ballad that is pretty uplifting and...illuminating, ho ho ho.

Anywy, what made this one of my fave songs of the year? For one, I am a sucker for a J-Lo ballad, she has such a gorgeous voice filled with emotion and feeling. COmbined with the lovely production and the lyrics, it's just a joy to listen through. Her perfomance on American Idol was just flawless.

Madonna wins my EOY with one of the best songs of her career, despite it only being a year old. One of the first batch of Rebel Heart songs to be released to itunes, it was an instant fave and I was glad to see it be released as the second single. That video is nothing short of a masterpiece, especially that dance scene at the end, and her hair was amazing, she looked so good in it. The song shows she can still write and perform a song with depth and meaning and proves why she is the best selling female ever.

Not the op 2 ACTUALLY BEING GOOD :cheeseblock:
Ghosttown is a solid #1! I prefer the other two Rebel Heart singles but it's still good. Nice countdown Regina
YES an utterly fantastic #1! It really is one of the best songs she's ever done and I don't care if it being recent affects that viewpoint. Beautiful, stunning, moving, powerful. EVERYTHING
Very pleasing winner! I agree with everything you said there - my two highlights from the video are the dance scene and her hair too! It really is cementing itself as a Madonna classic and it's a shame it wasn't a better chart success for both the fact it is deserving of being so and that most people will just remember 2015 Madonna as falling at the BRITs and "not acting her age" in the Bitch video.

I'm just listening to the Jennifer Lopez song now, I'd never heard it before... not sure I even knew it existed. :o #flopfan - it's a very nice song!

Madonna at #1! *.* Great song, I wish it could have done something chartwise (#117 in the UK, eek :().

I really like 'Second Hand Heart', even aside from the fact Kelly Clarkson features. :kink: Ben sounds decent on studio recordings... cannot staaaand his live vocals though, oops.

Great EOY overall!
