considering i was a flop at albums this year and i can only come up with 10 that i truly loved here they are!

10 // Lana Del Rey - Honeymoon

Cult favorite Lana Del Rey shared another piece of her story with her third album, 'Honeymoon'. It's a great album by definition but a bit too subdued and melancholy for everyday. Overall, it's a very emotional and raw insight into her world. Too bad it flopped.

Highlights: 'Art Deco', 'High By The Beach'

09 // FKA Twigs - M3LL15X [EP]

I couldn't get into her first album, 'In Time', but something in this cohesive and gorgeous album drew me to it. Over the 19 minutes, she explores many themes and highlights her swirling voice. The mini-film attached to this album is also very beautiful but also extremely strange.

Highlights: 'In Time', 'Figure 8'

08 // Drake & Future - What A Time To Be Alive

This was an unexpected pleasure of mine this year. I've never liked any of Future's output and Drake is relatively hit-or-miss for me when it comes to his collabarations, but this album shows Drake's strengths and shows an addictive side of Future's voice that I didn't know was there. The production is booming and anthemic, and it brings out a strong urge to dance (in me, at least). A danceable rap album that is objectively good is hard to come by, but this album pulls it off with pizzazz.

07 // Courtney Barnett - Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit

This was one of my most anticipated albums of the year, and she met my expectations with a gritty album of real-life experiences. Highlighting the everyday struggles we all face, she creates a magical album which can relate to all who have had a remotely normal life. The album shines in its simplicity, but impresses due to Barnett's talent.

Highlights: 'Pedestrian At Best', 'Nobody Really Cares If You Don't Go To The Party'

06 // Adele - 25

Adele took control of 2015, and for good reason. Her voice is massive, and her songs always emit emotion in a way that no one else can. When 'Hello' came out, the world stopped to listen: It broke records around the world, in sales, streaming, and YouTube. The album accomplished the same feat, breaking records worldwide. Adele is a phonomena, tapping into a demographic which hasn't been marketed to effectively since Susan Boyle. The album highlights her strengths, even at her weakest times. It's much of the same, but the raw emotion and different themes bring out a new emotion from listening to her music: hope.

Highlights: 'Hello', 'Send My Love (To Your New Lover)'
25 in an incredible album. Not meaning to jump on any bandwagon but it really is. Saying that I still don't own it physically :heehee: until Christmas Day maybe

Hey Math :D Brilliant to see 'M3LL15X' here, such a beautiful album! '25' is of course amazing. Couldn't really get into 'What A Time To Be Alive' unfortunately despite being a massive fan of Drake. Hoping for a new solo effort from him soon! Excited for the top 5~

Hi Math

Only listened to Honeymoon out of the lot, I liked how slow and sad it was personally, it may well be her best album yet for me - I agree with you it is a big shame it flopped :/

FKA and Courntey are really good and of course 25 is incredible

Even though it was disappointing, I do love Honeymoon- Freak/Art Deco/High By The Beach/Terence Loves You are my highlights

Hype for the top 5 *.*

Hi Math :D 25 is very good! It took me a couple of listens to fully appreciate it I think, after being underwhelmed at first.
