Welcome to my roughly compiled Top 40 songs of 2015. Thanks to all those who have commented on my chart this year, I probably don't take my chart as seriously as some but I find it fun to do nonetheless and I enjoy seeing what songs are making it in others' personal charts.

 

2015 was definitely the year of Sia, the quirky Aussie claiming 4 songs out of the 40.

 

Petite Meller, Carly Rae Jepsen and Olly Murs are the only other acts to feature more than once, although none of them have more than 2 songs in the top 40.

Both of those two Sia tracks are in my top 40 so very happy to see them top 2 for you here. Both stunning :wub:

'Jealous' is quite good but not enough for me to chart it unfortunately. 'Hello' 5th is amazing for a song released in Late October. 'Firestone' is without a doubt one of the best dance tracks this year imo.

'Sorry' is my favourite Bieber track easily. Especially as I'm not a fan of his in the slightest. 'King' around the same ish mark on my countdown. I guess they were the Kings and I bowed to him eventually or whatever you put it like when I first charted the song.

Carly, Madge, Petite (BL) although 'Barbaric' has slightly grown on me, Olly, Major Lazer, Muse, Florence with their best songs ever imo, 1D, Ellie, Nero & Taylor are all great to brilliant too.

Walk the Moon's is a like/hate song. I disliked it because of how geeky it was but then it became so addictive listening in the car etc so I succumbed to it in the end but I still don't totally love it or anything. It's made my 100 though as it did very well chart run wise.

Hi Mango :D Great #1, Sia sounds excellent on that track in particular! Also great seeing Firestone so high up, and Sorry too :wub:

Yay at Sia occupying the top 2, I'd put it round the other way imo. EH just seems more magical and the video is way more intriguing and emotive. She's been fantastic this era though so I hope This Is Acting can keep it up, Alive is a little disappointing so far (clearly you don't think so :P)

 

Glad to see Seasons just scraping in too, it's underrated imo and one of his better singles. I love the video too where he goes through all the Seasons, simple but it adds a nice touch. Kiss Me is fantastic too, lacking a bit in his cheekyness but the video brings that in spades and the track is polished and really smooth, still really works for him despite being a bit more grown-up.

 

Champagne Kisses is another very underrated track, Jessie came back on full form this time and she had some gorgeous tracks, was so happy when she picked it as a single. She should've had loads of hits with how great this and Say You Love Me and You & I were!
