It's a fantastic reggae track (the original) so I'm glad they supported it despite the poor chart performance!

Sees the return of Scottish rockers Twin Atlantic with their first single from their fourth album GLA which is set for a September release. I expect this to eventually get the radio 1 A List treatment as its a band that are accessible and they love to support.

There isn't a video for Tears yet anyway. Really surprised to see Blink-182 still being supported, although of course just because they're TOTD doesn't mean they'll necessarily be playlisted.

last chance saloon? a bit early to say that when it's only just hit the top 40 and probably going to go top 20 eventually. I'd be very surprised if they don't playlist since 'Roses' waa supported and the same with Cheat Codes having been top 40 for a few weeks you'd think they would be snubbing that but I think they are just taking their time getting round to playlisting them eventually!

 

Clean Bandit are a definite too I'd say :)

I'm pretty gobsmacked they shunned the recent Chris Brown/Benny Benassi one, I was pretty certain they'd jump on that with the names involved.

haven't radio 1 always been funny with Chris Brown though? quite a few of his haven't been playlisted.
