The reaction to it was absolutely bizarre. It's a little dull at worst, so it seemed like such a gross overreaction on their part. But then again, it is Grimmy + co. I'm glad it's looking to be a huge hit, if only to spite the breakfast team.

They really did play it as if it'd been forced upon them, not like it's top 10 on iTunes and looking to be massive.

Much as I love the song to bits, lyrically it is a bit of an embarrassment so I can see where they're coming from in that respect.

 

Anyway, so glad to see it as TOTD. :wub:

I actually like the lyrics, I think in part they're actually kind of sad, but I can see how that can seem laughable in a dance song.

I wasn't listening to it on Radio 1, but when I heard it on Kiss the other day, it said 'I took a plane to Ibiza' instead. 'Fuck' was bleeped out though! I suspect it would be the same.

It is, considering they're referring to it as 'In Ibiza' but playing the full version of the song. :lol:

The marijuana reference was included when they played New Americana by Halsey on the breakfast show today so maybe they are finally starting to get more lenient about editing :o
