Real shame but even the tight second set I saw, Murray just wasn't consistently positive or aggressive enough to ever be in contention. Shame. Konta out of Fed Cup with an intestinal issue that apparently got worse in Melbourne - makes her achievement there even more impressive. There's a terrible 'real guts' pun there somewhere.

Was also good weekend for Liam he won Glasgow and for Kyle Edmund winning Dallas over fellow Brit Dan Evans, took Edmund to high of 84 and moved Dan to British #4 ahead of Ward now
