August 30, 201610 yr Author Great win for Kyle Edmund who beat Gasquet in the US Open in straight sets. He's one to keep a eye on Edmund for the future if injuries don't get in the way.

Watson out 2-6 5-7 to Dutch qualifier Richel Hogenkamp, she did seem to have a back problem. However that is now 6 round 1 exits our of 6 at the USA open. We will have at least one more Briton in Round 2 with Robson currently playing Broady. Currently 1 set all Robson 7-6 3-6 Broady. Murray will almost certainly get there. Which should take us to 5. Aljaz Bedene faces a tough test against Kyrgios Not sure who else is in Brit wise off the top of my head.

If he doesn't get injured he's worth a shot for a Grand Slam win next year. Great Britain have it all to do in their Davis Cup semi-final. 2-0 down.
