I was so excited around the time I first heard 'Clarity' at the start of 2013 and it was announced he was working with Gaga, I thought in my mind this cannot be something other than truly amazing... and we got 'Donatella'. :puke:

It was quite shocking how quickly Zedd went from a quite exciting producer to a complete non-descript one. I remember being excited about Zedd working on ARTPOP also. :(

Zedd is such a basic producer, 'Clarity' is his only good song and, even then, I'm not a massive fan.

'Spectrum' was great also, though 'Clarity' is his best easily.

Since 'Stay The Night' it's gone really downhill.

OMG Stay The Night was Zedd??!! It was f***in shit!!! The lyeics were as bad as the production!! 'Are you gonna stay the night oh oh tell me are you gonna stay the night?' No wonder the production is so bad on ARTPOP!!!

I'm glad to hear she's mentioned that the album will be "fun", because that's what I'm wanting from her! Some great, melodic, fun & catchy pop songs. Something that conjures up the excitement in her as a popstar that was strongly felt during 'The Fame' & 'The Fame Monster' releases (that's not to say I want it to sound like those albums).

I would like her to do an album which touches me in a similar way to Carly's E•MO•TION tbh. ;o Can Gaga tap into her emotions and make them somewhat relatable~? I would love her to be able to have the public connect to her music again.

I'll concur, no Zedd... unless he has it in him to top 'Clarity'.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with all that's been said here. I'm all for Gaga following her heart and singing about what's meaningful to her but the music has got to be up to scratch. ARTPOP could have been something really interesting if there was a good flow in the tracking-list and if the songs were actually reflective of the title because, to me, cheap Zedd production is not the first thing that comes to mind when I hear the words "art" and "pop" fused together.

Gaga has always been a great singer but I think the live performances from the Cheek to Cheek album have really highlighted how strong a singer she is, so I'd love to hear some songs on this album that really shows that off, whether they'd be in the form of piano ballads or pop songs or whatever.
