I think it's Harry Styles (as part of Heroes and then What Makes You Beautiful if you don't count the former), he's (just) the only member of One Direction younger than me and I can't find anyone else post-late 1993 getting a #1 any earlier.

Cher Lloyd in 2011, seven months younger than me. Swiftly followed by One Direction and Little Mix that same year (Just Perrie from Little Mix, but all members bar Louis of OneD are younger than me, eek), seems to becoming a bit more of a common occurence now (although that may be because the chart in the last two months have been dominated by someone younger than me and now dethroning is someone even younger).

 

In looking for this, I've just found Meghan Trainor is also younger than me and Sam Smith just seven months older, I...didn't know that.

Ignoring the odd band member and fictitious characters (Mr Blobby, the Simpsons, Teletubbies) the first entire act younger than me was Hanson, the first solo act Usher in 98.

Not including Eoghan Quigg and Diana Vickers as part of The X Factor Finalists' 'Hero' in 2008, it'd seem to be Dayo Olatunji, who featured on 'Oopsy Daisy' by Chipmunk in 2009. But she's not credited by the OCC so if we're not counting her then it'd be Joe McElderry with 'The Climb'. :nocheer:

 

And the next non-X Factor charity/coronation single would be.....Diana Vickers with 'Once' lol.
