Actually think this is a good single, didn't really notice it until now but it's such an earworm and I've been singing it at school a lot these last couple of days. I like how it's not just novelty like Sax and stands on its own as a good pop song. If she released Breakfast and then Paris then this would be a pretty good debut in terms of singles.
It's an average 3rd single from a 5 Star album in the mid-80s.

Really? Because to me I know I've heard it a fair few times and it is on my playlist, but if someone were to ask me how it goes, I wouldn't be completely sure and blag some kind of "Every day I love you more and more!".

Ah wow, for me the More & More bit has been in my head lots, catchier than Sax I think although I can understand for other appeal it doesn't have the same appeal.

Removed from the Capital playlist after 3 weeks due to it 'doing badly', apparently the impact week was next week, so it seemingly didn't get supported by Radio 1 either. But hopefully Radio 1 will just add it later, they've done that before.
Ugh, I don't get it. It's SO infectious and joyous and dripping in melody and has a massive hook. Silly public.
I don't understand why the impact week is next week and they've done NOTHING else for it? :/ So bizarre!
How embarrassing.
I get the feeling Capital are jumping the gun a bit. Clearly it was never going to be a hit, but I still think it might get at least a couple of weeks on the B list from Radio 1.

It doesn't make sense for the impact date to be next week as we have no music video and no Radio 1 playlisting, Radio 1 will at least C-list it if not more - Sax was one of the biggest singles of the last 6 months whether they like it or not.

So Capital are way too quick to drop it, I still think Radio 1 will playlist it at some point.

hopefully they'll come to their senses and release Breakfast, More and More is a nice album track - never should of been released as a single though and this is echoed in it's Spotify streams (not far off of a million whilst More and More has only JUST managed 400k despite a televised performance and being sent to radio), actual chart placing despite non-release and the fact it actually WON THE TWITTER POLL It's like syco want their artists to fail???? everyone I've played it to so far has loved it and couldn't believe it from "that sax girl" Capital's abandonment of the song speaks volumes and 90% of what they play is trash

She shot the video for this today. Really weird to see Radiogiving up on it already
Breakfast is an awful choice. I mean It's catchy and I like it... but the lyrics are terrible, I had it on my playlist after it was released on Spotify and I was hosting a night in my apartment with the speakers in, it came on and atleast 3 of the people said and I quote "What is this s***."

More and More is better. Baby Don't Dance as single 3, hopefully More & More will go top 10 atleast. Although I don't see it.

I agree. If I played Breakfast at a party I'd be forced to turn it off almost immediately (I never have) More and More is a more accessible choice, and for me is a better song anyway.

Ugh at this seemingly going wrong already. :(

Capital are a funny lot, they're so quick to abandon certain songs before they have a chance to get going.

'Run Away With Me' was in a similar situation I think! But then they re-added, right?

Yeah but they added it way too late the second time (as it was being dropped by R1) and then removed it after a week, again. Had they (re)playlisted 2 weeks earlier Carly would have probably managed a top 40.
