Will be interesting to see how this album performs, although 'You Don't Know Love' stuck around for a while and went silver it never really felt like a hit and the follow up has yet to make an impact, there also doesn't seem to be a buzz around this either.

I'm sure album sales will be decent as Olly is the kind of act like Robbie Williams that will always do well on albums regardless of single positions but unless he pulls a few big hits out of the bag and some killer promo I think this will be an 'underperforming' album by his standards.

My review of the album on my blog: https://alexscsb.com/2016/11/11/crazystupid...fficial-24-hrs/

I was all gearing up to crown All Saints' "Red Flag" as my album of the year, and then he releases this. Had it on repeat all day, just a really strong, cohesive record :)

I was at the Westfield signing he did tonight as well, he was on top form - true gent as always.

The #Yoursfor24 challenges are up on his Twitter that he did today as well, really funny - he did a cinnamon challenge and was also waxed at one point :D

He's also performing "Read My Mind" off the album on Xtra Factor this Sunday.

It'll probably go platinum but that's about it I reckon!

Going Plat would be enough to call it a success. IIRC Never Been Better was stuck in the 400k~ range before the re-release.

Edit: Oh, actually it was about to reach double platinum, my bad.

Have yet to listen to this. Is it better than his previous album?
I have listened to this 4 times over now and in my honest opinion this is his best album. There is not one song that I have skipped. Its very consistent and I prefer this sound for him. Don't ley Grow Up put you off - it is however the weakest on the album.
Loving Read My Mind, i really enjoyed the xtra performance, this is much better than you dont know love and grow up.

Album leading for #1 in midweeks which didn't expect at all! Pleased to see it's doing better than I thought it would. "Grow Up" all set to go top 40 this week at last too :D

Confirmed he is performing "Grow Up" on Blue Peter for CBBC tomorrow...didn't even know that show was still on! He's also on Sunday Brunch on Channel 4 next weekend.

Pleased about that, I was worried about the threat of Emeli initially but seems her hype never really built up. Olly does deserve the success he's had, especially off the back of two lovely singles in YDKL and Grow Up.

I must say this album hasn't properly hit me yet. Never Been Better was really insant for me but these songs are blending in to each other a bit and it's feeling a bit long. I think I need to give it a few more listens (I've only listened to it twice so far) to begin to appreciate it all more. Not sure that's going to happen with the new Little Mix album on repeat though

So great it has another number 1, 4 number 1 albums is impressive. Its wonderful to see Grow Up now achieve a top 25 position too.

I know - his 18th top 40 hit to boot. That must be the highest tally for a reality TV graduate since Girls Aloud surely? He performs "Grow Up" on Children in Need tonight and he's on both Michael McIntyre and Graham Norton next week as well which should healthily boost its sales this coming week!

Is there anything better than the amazing YDKL on the album? Grow Up is atrocious so I'm reluctant to give this a listen.

"Private", "Back Around", "Read My Mind" and "Unpredictable" should be winners if you liked "You Don't Know Love".

he doesn't look good on that cover ^_^

I feel like this era will be his era with most singles.

"Private", "Back Around", "Read My Mind" and "Unpredictable" should be winners if you liked "You Don't Know Love".

I would disagree here, Read My Mind is wonderful and Back Around is also very good but they are much better than You Dont Know Love which i find to be one of the weakest tracks on the album.
