In the mid-90s Madge and Kylie went through a phase were they released more left of centre material because they had established themselves so much. This is no different for Rihanna now.

I meant deliberately harm their own sales for a purpose of pushing something like Tidal.

She was the #1 streamed female last year and hasn't put it on Spotify, that is like Adele not releasing a physical cd for 25 or Elvis last album being stream only.

A lot of sense talked about Rihanna on this thread - she's hardly obliged to release pop music!

^^ Work would be doing just as well with or without Drake!

I don't get why people are so keen to start labelling something a flop so quickly

It looks like Rihanna's one-week total for work will be 71k, which would have given her another easy top 3 hit (and number 1 loads of weeks out of the past year), if she released on a Friday. Not to mention it's not on Spotify, which, considering it is #1 on Apple Music, leads me to believe that she'd probably have shifted another 20k.

But like I said earlier in the thread, I really don't think she cares. She'll still be filling stadiums across the world this year.

Just saw a tweet from HMV that the standard version of Anti seems to be in the shops now, or at least HMV, if so will see how that affects it's sales for today and tomorrow

What about 1D (History, MITAM) ?
What about 1D (History, MITAM) ?

#8 and #21! History will probably fall to #9 behind Lukas Graham though.

Are Little Mix close to getting to 10?

Not particularly, don't think it'll happen this week.

Any sign of Britney's Greatest Hits today please?

Unsurprisingly, no :P
