January 28, 20187 yr Just heard this, and it is super! Didn’t really notice it on the album but it works so well as a single
January 29, 20187 yr I love Paloma so dearly, but listening to her new album in full (all 19 tracks) is such a chore. This song stood out for me amongst the monotony. 'Warrior' does have to get released though.
January 29, 20187 yr but listening to her new album in full (all 19 tracks) is such a chore. This song stood out for me amongst the monotony. Absolutely agree with this. A great example of why I resort to the standard version of an album. I think the bonus tracks are only worth visiting if the standard edition is a corker. I tend to only include them at first if they've been singles.
January 29, 20187 yr oh this is excellent, totally passed me by when listening to the album Guilty was too similar to Cry baby, glad this is upbeat and more different
January 29, 20187 yr "Guilty" too similar to "Crybaby"? I don't see the similarity at all, other than both having the Paloma Faith stamp on them... they're both completely different tempos for starters!!
January 30, 20187 yr I love Paloma so dearly, but listening to her new album in full (all 19 tracks) is such a chore. This song stood out for me amongst the monotony. I agree, I don't know why people have to have so many songs on an album these days. 12 is the perfect number of songs for any album. I'm quite enjoying this as a single but definitely Warrior or Surrender for the next one!
January 31, 20187 yr I agree with some of the comments here. There is quite a few filler tracks on the deluxe and the additional four bonus tracks don’t stand out. Usually, it’s worth buying the deluxe for 1 or 2 of the bonus tracks but not with this album. Edited January 31, 20187 yr by slowdown73
February 16, 20187 yr Author Is the video a follow up to Trouble With My Baby??? The songs definitely growing on me!
February 18, 20187 yr She totally nails camp, empowering disco! I wish the higher reaches of the current chart had more stuff like this.
March 3, 20187 yr Author Despite the weather issues, the tour kicked off as planned last night with the following setlist as taken from Setlistfm. Evolution (Intro) The Architect Crybaby Guilty My Body I’ll Be Gentle Lost and Lonely Just Be Can't Rely on You Kings and Queens Warrior Picking Up the Pieces Surrender WW3 Lullaby Til I’m Done Changing (Sigma cover) Still Around Only Love Can Hurt Like This Love Me as I Am It's quite a decent setlist but I can't at her NOT having anything from her debut era including New York which I thought would be included :( I'm not a fan of Kings and Queens so won't hide my dislike of that appearing but Warrior and Surrender both making the cut are fantastic! Of all the interludes she could have included I thought the Owen Jones one would make the list!
March 3, 20187 yr I was holding out hope for 30 Minute Love Affair but you can’t win them all :( It would have been nice for her to include something from the first album though.
March 3, 20187 yr Author I was holding out hope for 30 Minute Love Affair but you can’t win them all :( It would have been nice for her to include something from the first album though. I totally forgot about that for a minute! :o It also pains me she has snubbed Beauty Remains and Ready For The Good Life - which of course is featured on about four different adverts so even casual goers would know it!
