February 4, 20169 yr I love how UV comes in saying that she disagrees with most of the countdown, and then straight after you post a Taylor Swift track  I like Bad Blood but it's one of the weaker singles from her for me. Like BM and WTWM, but both shouldn't have been as enormous a success as they were, as both artists have had better bopz in the past :music:
February 4, 20169 yr Bad Blood is definitely the weakest track from the 1989 era, and Bastille's song of the same name is better. I do like it though.

February 5, 20169 yr Author 93. Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass Chart peak- 1 7PCkvCPvDXk Aside from this being irritating and wholly overplayed, it was actually quite a catchy tune. All About That Bass was a unique song in terms of message and it caused some controversy, but I thought it had a good-hearted message and was quite addictive. A good number one and I'm glad it was as long lasting as it was. :music: Call me contradictory, but this song a real guilty pleasure. Edited February 5, 20169 yr by mdh
February 5, 20169 yr Author Yes! All About That Bass is so good! I guess now only songs you like are left. Yep :D Really good year for music :music:
February 5, 20169 yr Author 92. Sia - Elastic Heart Chart peak- 10 KWZGAExj-es A really nice song, I like Sia and I really loved this, especially the chorus, but it wasn't really that memorable. Even though I do rate her solo stuff, I do still prefer her countless collaborations with David Guetta :heehee:
February 5, 20169 yr I prefered Chandelier, Big Girls Cry and Alive tbh. Although I do love Elastic Heart!

February 5, 20169 yr Hi mdh, have been following this but usually on my phone (where I tend not to post :kink:), good read so far and lots of great tracks still to appear :)
February 5, 20169 yr Author Hi mdh, have been following this but usually on my phone (where I tend not to post :kink:), good read so far and lots of great tracks still to appear :) Hi Dobbo, thanks :) Had a stalk through your old personal charts out of interest just now (did it to others' as well who have been commenting ) and found that my number one was a strong top 10 hit in your chart. ^_^
February 5, 20169 yr Lol that since my last post saying how many I lost from my End Of Year charts, the next 2 songs go are my 2015 EOY #1 (Bad Blood) and my 2014 EOY #8,9 or 10 (All About That Bass) which was also top 100 for me in 2015! Also like Elastic Heart!
February 6, 20169 yr Big hits I never fully got the hype on so yay good turnout again :D (Lips Are Movin is like a poor 5 second redo of it which is much poorer tho <_< )
February 6, 20169 yr You know what I totally agree, about Taylor Swift, none of the stuff she released last year, was all that. Just way too generic and plodding, just like the entire “1989” album, which I actually bought and was kinda disappointed with, especially after “Red” which was great, apart from the awful “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” & the Ed Sheeran collaboration. I did like “Shake It Off” at first, but got played to death and as usual, killed it for me. “Blank Space” was okay at first, but again over played to death. “Style” was OK, but basically got ignored in the UK. “Bad Blood” was terrible and bland, with that stupid over the top music video, which was the only reason it got hyped so much and charted high. Then “Wildest Dreams” was dull and totally forgettable. Then there’s the upcoming single “Welcome To New York”, again forgettable, bland and dull. I did hope that the album would grow on me, but with each single, I just seem to like it less and less. Hopefully she’ll turn it around with her next album and do something more interesting.

Exactly, none of the songs were anything memorable and special. Thanks for commenting ^_^
