Well I HAVE experienced it, as have others I know.

Why are you so scared of another vote? Surely if a tiny % is the will of the people and is a great thing, then another vote is a beautiful thing as your hero Trump would say?

I would not support a referendum where one of the options involved staying in, since the decision to leave was made just over a year ago, and must not be reversed without a specific referendum to do so.

But cabinet members are bound by Collective Responsibility - relieved of that constraint, Boris could be a real thorn in the gov'ts side as he could no longer be prevented from criticising them.

Previous cabinets have been constrained by collective responsibility. This one seems less concerned.

Perhaps you could point me to where you allege I said I am scared of another vote?

Personally I'd be delighted to have one, as I'm supremely confident the margin for Leave would be even higher.

And what makes you confident of THAT??

More boomers have died off since, it has been a shitshow, UK economy is now the worst performing out of any modern country, the county thinks of nothing but Brexot,is inward looking and not a world power, and it is a joke.

The express is not a reliable source. Jesus that shitrag somehow manages to contain less truth and be more racist than the Daily Hate&Fear

Anyone who has no concerns of the possibility of a Federal Europe is IMO naive.

Ah yes, that federal argument again. The closest example of a federal state is Germany. A lot of the power there is devolved to the individual Lände. The German constitution was deliberately designed to limit central government power. Who wrote it? We did.

I don't see anything wrong with a Federal Europe personally.

Neither do I. It's just a phrase thrown out by Europhobes safe in the knowledge that most people won't understand it.

Then it's just as well we older voters were around to save you from yourselves on 23/6/16. :teresa:

Me either.

It would be Europe's crowning glory.

Orrr it was you older voters who stole the future the younger voters want, selfishlessly? I see it like that :)

I don't need saving thanks. And if I did I'd rather eat glass than be saved by a bunch of racist old bigots. Cheers tho babes xoxo

But what *you* think of it, is not relevant - it's one of the papers that will be most influential in the event of another referendum.

I'm 56. How old are you?

That's not what your profile says. ;)

How can you expect people not to use the term 'Remoaner' when Europhiles call their opponents 'racists' all the time?

Remember what happened when Hilary Clinton called Trump's supporters 'Deplorables'...

Suppose we had another vote, and Leave won again, I dare say you'd be demanding 'best 3 out of 5'...

Err no I wouldn't. Democracy is the least bad form of politics. It's only flawed when lies take over from truth. There will be no way anyone can lie about an actual deal on the table with actual details. Happy to accept the public decision to accept it if that's what they want.

I'm 60 in January. My ExRAF Dad is 80. We both support the EU because we clearly recall what a shithole the UK was for poor people before 1973 and we had friends from around the world and lived abroad so we aren't frightened of other cultures or worried that later generations won't be as "British" as anyone else who are the descendants of people from Europe. That will be every single person in the UK who is white.....

But where the political spin will come in, is in what might happen if we vote the 'wrong' way - that will be no different from last year's vote.

I also recall the mid-70's, but I ascribe the problems not to being isolated from Europe, but the worldwide oil crisis, and the power of the unions. I put our subsequent recovery down to Thatcher taking on & beating the unions (the only good thing she ever did), rather than our membership of the EEC/EC/EU.

I am sick to death of hearing that we only voted out due to racism/xenophobia though, especially given that there are many good, and far less contentious, reasons for doing so.

Hahahahahaha no it won't! Trinity Media are in talks to buy it over. Say goodbye to the racist rag coz Trinity are pro-EU!

If the shoe fits.....

She got three million more votes???

Still waiting for a reason from you that isn't one of the following:

- Racist

- An outright lie

- Xenophobia

- A falsehood around some form of racist far right buzzword like "sovereignty" or "control"

Thee is a difference between saying that all Leave voters are xenophobes (something nobody has said ever) and saying that xenophobes made the difference between a Leave majority and a Remain majority. Not all Leave voters are xenophobes but it is reasonable to assume that almost all xenophobes who voted went for Leave.
