I'm from Ipswich and the Anglian Radio Group includes Town 102 which is very popular in and around Ipswich, The Beach and Dream 100 are quite popular too in North Suffolk/Norfolk.

I can't until one of her liveshows
53 in the first midweek. Probably won't stay Top 80 by the weekend.

Oh gosh I can't see top 100 being a thing. :(

Obviously really held back by streaming but to be at #53 now means she will be luck to stay Top 75 as her sales would be very front loaded. They really need to buy some slots on streaming playlists, reduce it to 59p and get a 1 track signed CD single out for the stans to at least keep it stable until hopefully some TV promo and radio play kicks in.
Yeah, I think they've really missed a trick not doing a signed CD single to boost sales.

Maybe they will do that in a few weeks.

Taking into account Sunday sales alone, 'Back To You' was the 101st biggest selling song of that day (802 sales).

I'm surprised they have launched her without one - I know it's a dead format but always done well for The Saturdays and would have been a good idea for Mollies debut, hopefully they have one planned but I doubt it?

Omg

If the chart was still based on download sales only, up to this point she's the 24th best selling download of the week. She places 178th in terms of streaming alone (out of the 200 songs in the midweeks).

Streaming was always going to be the difficulty!

Mollie seems to have stabilised on iTunes now, she'll fall a lot over the midweeks but I can see her staying top 100 by Friday, which isn't too bad!

Really? We don't want her to do all her tricks in week 1. This isn't 2-3 years ago, where you could hold something back and enter high and fall down. You need to build up over weeks/months. In a few weeks if she releases a physical, I might be like oooh yes I will purchase that, but I probably wouldn't have purchased a physical and a download this week. So she will get 2 sales from me (if she does a physical.) She will get a third if she pops up a banging remix EP too.

In an ideal world, yes.. it will build over weeks/months, but this is Mollie who will probably be 124 - OUT at this rate, and there'll be no climbing from there.

She's not getting played on radio, she's got no TV promo coming up.. How is it going to build?

If she'd had a CD single out this first week, she would have probably sold enough to make a solid start in the top 40 after the fanbase buys and then carried on with the promo.

And if radio saw that she'd made a dent in the top 40, she may have stood a chance of getting played.

Realistically, I think the label has gotten completely confused about her popularity because she's able to front magazines and be out & about in the fashion world.. She won't sell on name alone.

There's no musical hype, there's literally nothing. Why is she not on The One Show, This Morning, Lorraine, Loose Women, GMB, BBC Breakfast, Sunday Brunch, The Saturday Show, BBBOTS??

She may have a different team now but they seem to be just as hopeless as Peter. A local radio tour? Is that the best that Island can pull out for her?

Then we also have to factor in that Mollie/The Saturdays in general are notoriously lazy.

And it's not a question of 'maybe they don't want her'.. They always need guests to fill up these daytime slots.

Plus, Dan Wootton was on Lorraine last Friday talking about the single.. he's done more TV promo than she has!

She's a relatively unknown 29 year old woman singing pop music... she's doomed unless she promotes.

I was genuinely holding out hope that she was on Strictly Come Dancing this year, that would have been great for her.

But alas, it's just like a Saturdays release all over again. The potential is there but we're just left disappointed.

(Sorry for the rant :o )

^^So agree with the above - Mollie is launching as a new artist, to the general public The Saturdays are a distant memory and the fact she appears on the cover of a free Sunday newspaper magazine will not have people running out to buy her release.

Times are different now but an act like Mollie needs 5 x versions of her songs at 59p, a CD Single and a HMV tour in to get The Saturdays fanbase whipped up into a multi buying purchase frenzy. It's all about week 1 for certain pop acts and it will be extremely hard for her to build on a 88-172 chart run than to cram it all in during week 1, the TV shows listed above I'm sure would all have her on - Radio won't touch it after it misses the Top 75 then swiftly disappears and even he likes of Lorraine etc, will be reluctant to support any further releases as she will just be yet another failed boy/girl band member flop.

Of course I hope I'm wrong and that Island and her management really pull it out the bag but I can't see even if she does get daytime TV performances in a few weeks time that it would have any impact or revive the track.

The fact that she's even managed #178 on streaming in the midweeks is a miracle.

Cool that she replied to you! I'm sure she can see the dismay of all the fans at her lack of anything promo related! When The Saturdays reform they really need to call their comeback album 'I'll Be Doing Lots of Promo Soon' with the follow up called 'News Coming Soon'
