The video really annoys me - it's so tryhard sexy that it becomes not sexy at all.

However the song is creeping up on meeee, bit of a bop

Edinburgh, how come?

Just wondering, good to know fellow Scots are on here! :D

this is excellent, the production is an utter earthworm in its own right. the video however resembles a poorman's version of ciara's track of the same title. it doesn't even seem to sync with the music at times.

that said it deserves to be huge

also going over this thread is a fucking dire read, some of you please get a grip and stop being so petulant. v atrl-lite and basic. i mean this is a song where the magic lies in the production, it'd never sound good live and that's okay as they aren't doing the open mic night at the student union. good on them coming back with what should be their biggest hit to date.

we're lucky as they are pretty much an anomaly in a chart world of lukas grahams and coldplays etc etc

Yeah, it's actually quite refreshing to see something like this doing so well in the charts. It feels like such a long time since anything female-led, urban and American broke through here. "Work" aside, even Rihanna and Beyoncé aren't having the sizeable hits like they used to. The charts are such a contrast to the days where anything in this genre seemed to be a hit. So, while it's not my favourite from them, I'm very pleased to see it do so well right now.

Fallen so hard for this today, after initially finding it rather bland. It's head an shoulders above anything else they've done.

I am living for the hot mess of the video. They cannot do sexy. The part when she tries giving that tractor a lap dance and basically falls off is my favourite part. Entire video on repeat.

Lol same. Just re-watched it and the whole thing really does seem more like a parody, in a similar way to 'Hard Out Here', than a genuine effort.

The song's growing (:() and I agree that the production's the big selling point.

Work work work work work work work work

It's actually their best video which isn't difficult!

Still can't figure out how a construction site is appropriate for this song. You certainly can't work from home if you're a builder.

Well, the lyrics of the song are about how a guy is always at work and how she's impatient waiting for him at home.

So it makes perfect sense that the girl's gone to his 'workplace' to show him what he's missing at home?

The chorus still is, and will always be, awful but I have to admit that everything else is growing on me a lot. Their singing throughout just sounds so dull and bored though.
This won't stop growing on me, what a tune  Hope this continues to be a long-running hit with a chance of #1 but I think it will stall at maybe #3?
