So happy for Sam Smith winning, tbh. That Gaga song is overrated AF and very boring. She's amazingly talented and the performance was great but that song DID NOT deserve to win.

Go Sam! Very well deserved!!!!

Ugh, guess that means the crap is going to win best picture :( Great :( This is really going to turn into an utter mess with all my least favourites winning now isn't it!
Fantastic! The directing of 'The Revenant' was spectacular. He has an amazing and unique style.
Aww I wanted Cate Blanchett :(

AT LAST :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: (even if the film is crap he was still quite good in it!)

But it's ridiculous how many times he should have won, especially for Titanic and The Wolf Of Wall Street

Really surprised and disappointed by Spotlight winning. It's such an empty film, the subject matter should make it hard hitting and poignant and timely, but it's just so half baked and lacking.
Meh! I don't want to watch this film tbh. -_-
'Spotlight' is definitely a bizarre film in that as individual performances, nothing really stands out but as a complete unit it's a very good film and I can see why it won!

I've been really happy with this ceremony (bar best song and director)! Nice to also have a few shocks after everyone seemed to be so convinced on all the big categories :o And both Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor throwing surprises!

And Ex_Machina for visual effects also! And Star Wars winning nothing! Lots of surprises :o

I wanted Gaga to win, but at least it wasn't that awful Weeknd song. Hope Sam Smith gets into a bit of acting and goes for the EGOT now :kink:

Really pleased with Mark Rylance as he was my pick and that's three of my Best Picture top 4 all winning something. Delighted that Spotlight still managed to win BP after losing the momentum!! I liked it so much more than The Revenant (and prefer it to Birdman too).

(Apparently Michael Keaton is in some biographical film concerning McDonalds, with a November 2016 release scheduled. Who wants to start placing bets on that getting Best Picture next year, I think he's a good omen :kink:)

I'm SO elated Bear Story won that Oscar. It was my favourite movie from Manhattan's Short <3 that recognition! *.*

and BRIE MOTHERFUCKING LARSON! SLAY *.*

The Aviator, Blood Diamond, Wolf of Wallstreet, amazing acting but its taken nearly my lifetime to give the guy an Oscar!! Congrats Leo and great speech!!!
